I never knew that was mary ellen jasper! I found a few pieces on the north shore of lake superior this summer. I just picked them up because they were beautiful! I need some waders now😂

That was such a beautiful place. I so miss being able to get out and rock hunt. It's very difficult for me to walk very far with my back issues. So I live through your videos. You find so many beautiful rocks.

I'm the same way; wheelchair bound and can't hunt for rocks anymore. It's so great to have young strong people like Taylor go out and video their hunts.

Awesome hunting spot! Absolutely gorgeous rock beds. The gravel beds on the Amite river in Louisiana are phenomenal as well. Great place to find agates!

Beautiful fall colors, river and friend and of course rocks. Welcome Cody.....😊! The green may be serpentine. It can feel soapy and slippery dry, it was wet so ??? The banded iron and banded jasper gorgeous, black jasper cool 😎 !

OMG, those are beautiful and Jasper's one of my favorites. I have found a lot of different kinds of Jasper even Mary Ellen Jasper weighing in at a little over 10 pounds. I also found red Jasper And a lot of brown jasper On the Ausble River I am a 5 minute walk from my house to the river. I have learned so much from your videos. My collection grows bigger and bigger every day.🥰 Thank you for sharing You're journey of rock hunting And explaining everything. Step-by-step.

So I'm sure you dont want to give the actual location of where this area is, so can you give me an idea of where this area is, is it two harbor area? Lutsen area? Grand Portage? I need help on good areas to look so any tips would be wonderful, I'm a newbie to rock hounding and haven't had the best of luck

That looks like dolomatized limestone that's been through 100 percent crystal alteration. Under magnifying you should see interlocking crystal structure. Cool gastropod fossils in it.❤❤
