At 57 and looking back to when my back yard was full of neighborhood kids playing kick ball and hide and seek and coming in for snack and drinks and a movie - it all feels like it was yesterday and a million years ago at the same time. Try to tell yourself every day that you're proud of yourself. I valued my parents telling me they were proud of me way more than "I love you" (although that was nice too). I tell my kids every day that I am proud of X about them (when they try hard, when they are kind, when they do something thoughtful, when they are proud of themselves). It's such a big thing that good parents do. Be proud of yourself and tell yourself that whenever you can! Have a lovely Christmas. xx

If you wrap the keyboard he will be very happy opening it on christmas day. I wrapped up many of my children's own toys for their first Christmases. Family kept giving us too many toys etc and there was no need to buy more. 😂

I think today has been one of the best days ever. I've enjoyed the other days, but I'm glad you gave all three of you a break to relax. As far as raising babies, I think you find what works best for you and your little one. I've never thought a stringent bedtime works for everyone. It has to work for all three of you. Otherwise, you are just swimming against the current. Louis, I do think you can tell by 7 months if he is a lefty or a right-hander. I loved seeing both of my kids just knowing which hand worked for them. You guys are doing fantastic! I truly love your channel.

Real life videos- absolutely perfect - love how you find and share these restaurants you find - also note to parent from a grandma - well rested -fed and comfy babies can flex their schedules from time to time and go out with mummy and daddy for dinner -yes Rays it is all consuming as a new parent especially however I can say it was absolutely best time (until grand babies came along) who knew it could get even better

Aww that feeling Louis of being a dad is enough.. I get it! Since becoming a parent I’ve settled down so much. Had my son in 2020 and a baby girl in September.. I garden and can food now I keep chickens and stay home with my children and it so much more than enough!! It’s what I feel I was missing- I became a parent at 30 years old- lived a hell of a life before then and it’s so much more than I ever imagined to just be a parent

I love watching Neo so much because my baby is exactly the same age. They’re just so incredibly curious about everything. I’m definitely still reading to my baby too even though she could generally care less 😂. Its still so good for them! I can also totally relate to wanting to take your baby out in the evening but being worried about messing up the routine. I definitely feel like generally following the bedtime routine is good, but the occasional break from the routine won’t totally throw them off. And like you said, it’ll get easier as they get older! Their bedtime will get a bit later 😊

Neo is a delight! What a blessing! Vlogmas is wonderful. Today was def not a fail…it was a fun day! I am really loving the vegan restaurant “crawl” you are doing. We don’t have as many vegan restaurants in the US as you do in England. We do have a vegan Indian restaurant here that used to do a menu with unlimited top offs. I loved being able to try everything. Sadly, they have gone back to a traditional menu. However, they still have a big focus on food waste and saving animals. 🥰 Enjoy your December!

Hi guys!! To answer the Left Handed question! ( I love that you mentioned this Louis) My Nephew O'Neal, at I would say around 3-4 months, (and I TOTALLY CALLED THIS) would grab his bottle, toys, little things, everything with his left hand. I noticed it first, (I like to think) and told my sister, she agreed! He is now 4, and does everything with his left hand. Silverware, writing, throwing, grabbing, everything. I love that I noticed it so early on, and it was actually true! I think sweet Neo might be a leftie as well! He's so sweet you two. Thank you for Vlogmas, and really just being you. We did BLW as well. My son started grabbing and using his left hand, too. But I was told if you're right-handed and reach out give them spoon, they are going to grab with their left because it's the same side. My son now uses his right hand to eat at age 2.
