Every year in Seattle the entire huge neighborhood of West Seattle, which is basically like it’s own small town, has one giant community yard sale. The people participating tell them what types of items they’ll be selling and they print out maps of where the houses will be and what kinds of things they’ll have. So if you’re looking for records you go to those houses first. If you want furniture you go to those houses first etc. It’s amazing.
