Күн бұрын

We have been trying for sometime now to catch a wild dog in one of our traps along with a coyote and raccoons. Today was the day that we finally caught one and now it's time to figure out what we want to do with it. We are at the creek property trying to get things ready for a youth deer season coming up.

You said about the dogs eating corn. If you look at the ingredients of a lot of dry dog food, one of the first things listed is ground yellow corn. That's probably why they're eating it.

I would print photos of those dogs . Put the photos up in local stores and post office, even talk to your closes neighbors give them some photos and see if they've seen them or they may know who owns them.

Sean, you are a great example of a loving father and husband. I bet your sweet girls know they are blessed to have such a great dad. You remind me of my dad who fell asleep at 49 and I was 17. I'm now 70 and still miss him. Hoping for a great hunting season for you all. Hugs and love, Janet God wins in the end.

I saw your reindeer and elk😄😂🤣. Anyway, raccoons make good pets if you hand raise them from infancy. Otherwise, at that raccoon’s age, it would be too wild. I really enjoy your videos and how you’re raising your children. They will become self reliant and mature before their time. There’s not a problem with that! Also, it’s great that your wife supports you in all this. Keep ‘em coming. And, thanks. P.S. I love that tin cutter! Beats the ol’ tin snips.

I am a dog lover. I am a member of an AKC club, I am a tester/observer for Alliance Of Therapy Dogs, and nothing makes me angrier then irresponsible dog owners. I don't think it is fair that someone else's irresponsible behaviors should be your problem. I also do not think it is fair that someone else's irresponsible behaviors make these dogs suffer. The likelihood these dogs are loaded with heart worm and other parasites and diseases are so high. Even though I have unpopular beliefs, I do believe these dogs should be put out of their misery. I am only sorry that it is you that has to make those decisions. It truly isn't fair.

Hi I've been watching your channel since you helped Lester. It's different but a good concept. On your little hunting cabins what about getting some hinges and more tin and covering your windows to keep the rain and snow out. When you're hunting you can hook them down on the outside wall till you're finished. Just thinking about how to preserve your building for a lot more time...

Shane you can actually go along your property line and use purple paint along with the no trespassing signs. Purple is a sign that states no hunting purple paint marks on the trees. They do that in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and Maine. You put purple marks on your property lines along the trees, along with the big yellow sign stating private property keep out and you have to go through every year and date them so they’re up-to-date with the no trespassing.❤❤ God forbid somebody goes hiking through your property and you haven’t got it Mark and you wind up shooting at someone which would scare the daylights out of them as long as you didn’t hit them but they’re also trespassing, so you definitely have to mark your boundary lines

@angelawebb6987
@angelawebb6987 11 ай бұрын
Just as dangerous, come on folks. Coyotes and wolves (which are a dog) and domestic dogs will all run in a pack. Brandon and Stephanie just found on of their dead guineas a long was from where it was caught and eaten. You all talk as of animal control will show up just anywhere. No so. Folks make up your mind what you want to happen. These who raise their own poultry, beef, goats, hogs, went into ymthe business to feed their families, NOT the wild animals nor the dogs people dump rather than putting them down rather than making them someone else's problem. Cog Hill Farm had to finally state it publicly they cannot take in any more animals. I'd rather dispatch one, than risk seeing it starve to death.

I live in the city, and I am being overrun by raccoons. I've had this problem for about 15 years. There is a family of them that lives in the porch roof of my next door neighbor. The problem is our porch roofs are attached. They destroyed my roof and I had to have it replaced, $3,000. They have burroughed through 2 of my neighbors roofs, into their homes. We are not aloud to harm them. We can buy traps, catch them, then take care of it until the city decides to come pick it up. High fines if you hurt them. As cute as they are, they can be very dangerous and destructive. Don't ever feed them. They'll remember and keep showing up.
