Completely Agree! i know it's just cuz people are that bitter about SV, but THIS type of style wouldn't work for a game. Edit: if anything, it looks more like it should be a cartoon type of thing.

I think they look great but yeah, not a style that would work as a playable game. They're fantastic for these seemingly stop-motion inspired animations.

I agree. I miss the textures they added to the models with SV. I know a lot of people had problems with their games, but I only had one glitch of any kind, and it was the trainer model not sitting correctly on Koraidon. I've played through the game over 15 times (doing challenge runs and nuzlockes) so it seemed fairly stable to me. I understand the point that TPC have ungodly amounts of money and the games should be in a better state, but I think all the time Gamefreak is left to do the work, we're gonna have games that underperform expectations.

I wonder if a lot of thought goes into it. "If we upload in chronological order, then people scrolling through our videos will see them in reverse order. If we upload them in reverse, then people will discover them in the correct order but will be immediately confusing to anyone looking at Upload order for a time."

Am I the only one who finds these shorts disturbing? I don't know, there's something about how they move that unsettles me ... Maybe I just miss it when the style was closer to Sugimori's (basically until Gen8-ish). I really dislike SV's art direction, even if as games I like them more than SWSH.

I’m so mad that these gorgeous animations were wasted on: picnic ingredient giveaways, Alolan Exeggutor Raids, and Flamigo outbreaks. Like at least announce a final DLC expansion for the NatDex. 😭

Wouldn't be surprised if this was a Switch 2 upgrade, since the Pokémon themselves look more bland. 1 step forward 2 steps back does sound like Game Freak
