We cook our pork roast in a crockpot for 6-8 hours on low. It will be so tender and delicious. Sometimes we will shred it up and add bbq sauce and have it on a bun. Sooo good. Also if you want you can add the shredded pork over mashed potatoes and add some gravy on top. Roasts need to be cooked slowly😉

Good morning, we finally got snow in our area of NC. Funny thing I'm 20 minutes away from where they get snow alot😂. I'm a dog person and my shih tzu hates this snow, the hops thru like a rabbit then kicks his back legs up like a donkeyyl😅😂.

Your pork roast looks DELICIOUS... 😋 I hope you don't have any of the winds from the storm that's supposed to hit Sunday.. I'm up above Anchorage & still have green grass in the yard. There's a little snow in town, but not much!!! I've seen a lot of coverage of the basketball games on local tv.. FUN...🏀 Hope your hubby is feeling better! 😔

RSV has hit adults as hard as children this season. I was at Providence Emergency Room in Anchorage a few days ago. Entire intake/waiting area was overwhelmed. Children had to wait to be seen it is that bad. Inpatient hospital rooms at both adult and pediatrics units are over capacity. Know hospitals are not admitting anyone unless critical. They will just send you home. Flying congested is a risk. With your remote location do everything you can to treat at home before FLU/RSV turns to bronchitis or pneumonia. Montana Haven KZbinr family & Modern Homestead Jessica all caught these viruses. Took them over two weeks to feel well enough to function. MUST KEEP Jared rested. At least a week in the house. Count on more like two. Have him stay elevated. Sleep sitting up. Hot steam showers several times a day. Lots of liquids. Lots. Hot broths too. Honey helps sooth throat. Make sure he clears his lungs. Also, RSV is highly contagious. Stay away from children and anyone vulnerable. It will take time and patience but you'll get through this.

@MaryStein-u6t14 күн бұрын
I have a question about animals there in Alaska during the winter. I know that there are some dogs that were bred to be in that kind of weather like huskies but what about regular dogs? I see other KZbinrs have smaller dogs or dogs you wouldn’t think that would be easily acclimated to the snow. Do these dogs ever have to wear like doggy booties or anything because you think that all that snow would be horrible on their paws, unless like I said they were a breed that does well in the snow.
