Getting it there wasn’t the issue, we don’t know how they stacked them or how they cut them to precision

That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s the precision and mathematics that make the great pyramids a scientific marvel. While getting the stones there in the first place is its own mystery, it’s not the “solution” to the question of how they were built

If you go to Egypt they literally have a display of how they think they "rough cutter" the stone to be finished later..... They literally take a 12 pound ROUND rock that is SOFTER than than material being worked on and just hit it over and over.......c'mon......kids believe this lies ...

Don't you just LOVE all the theories about how the ancient pyramids and other monuments were built? The interesting thing is: For every question, they think they've answered, there's a new half dozen, that they can't. So, they've discovered an offshoot of the Nile that has since dried up that has since dried up. But it doesn't explain how or why the stones were able to be placed as precisely as they were.
@daniellemahones8129
@daniellemahones8129 3 ай бұрын
They dragged the stones on ledges over causeways made of clay. Also its worth mentioning not all the Pyramids are that accurate. They made plenty of Pyramids that failed and collapsed. Like the Black Pyramid.
@seankrake4776
@seankrake4776 3 ай бұрын
That is actually a misconception. Most of the stones are not precisely placed. Most effective the exterior stones we see today are irregular, loosely fit, and not finely dressed. These were originally underneath the outermost layers of stone. Similarly in the pyramid, we can see poorly dressed and placed stones in places not intended to be seen like in the air shafts, relieving chambers, and under floors. All of this shows that they were only interested in spending time on precisely finishing and placing visible stones. The menkaure pyramid also shows us that the pyramids are likely not completely made of stacked stone. In the menkaure pyramid scar you can see a small section where stone blocks are a retaining wall for an area with unshaped, rough boulders that were mortared together. This wall and infill method was used by every other culture, and it would seem also by the he Egyptians. We know they sailed stones from Tura to Giza to be used on the great pyramid, per the merer papyrus, and it is possible to cut granite using copper saws and flint chisels in a pretty reasonable amount of time. I would argue that there honestly isn’t much mystery in how the pyramids as a whole were constructed. Each individual one has variations that are interesting, but the whole concept is honestly pretty clear how they did it.

The building time line has just been pushed back to 7,000 years ago with the discovery of the Nubian Egg shell depicting 3 pyramids and carbon dated to 7,000 years ago.
@seankrake4776
@seankrake4776 3 ай бұрын
No it hasn’t. This egg shells are believed to have come from the east, like jiroft, not the north. Seeing three triangles carved into something usually indicates mountains, not pyramids. It is not proof of anything, and if it was trying to represent the pyramids, then it would be the sole artifact proving that over a course of thousands of years. Not a single Egyptian or visitor mentioned the single greatest human building in existence? Except for some Nubian who carved it into an egg? It is not impossible, but is improbable

Actually they’ve discovered that the blocks may have been poured molds. Taking rock samples they’ve found elements not consistent to the rock like human hair. And it would make more sense that if they found a way to make limestone crete just make molds and pour it. Far easier and less time consuming.

The river wasn't used for transporting the stones. The pyramids needed the water as part of the electrical generation process. ⚡
@seankrake4776
@seankrake4776 3 ай бұрын
The pyramids cannot generate electricity. There is no scientific process for generating electricity which is viable by the pyramids construction. We do have a papyrus of an Egyptian man from during Khufu’s reign that says he took teams of men from Giza to Tura to move limestone from the quarry into barges to sail back to Giza, and he marveled at how much progress had been made in the days since he had been gone on Khufu’s horizon, and how it dominates the landscape. I’d be happy to go into more detail about why it could not produce a electricity if you are interested in real science instead of the stories of conmen authors.

The keyword is buoyancy! They attached goat skins that were “SEWN” tightly after they were filled with air , they attached these airbags with layers of papyrus reeds and depending on the weight of the stone, they might of had 10 or 12 layers of these-goatskin air bags that were attached to these 5 to 10 ton stones. The stones were now buoyant enough to be able to be pushed down the river and into canals or channels to the base of the pyramid.. The stones were then pushed into an upward sloping channel where water door locks opened and closed at different levels to reach the height, and then into a water retaining wall reservoir where they were then floated higher to match the elevation at which they were working and then move the stones using two superimposed, ladders and prying between the wrongs of the ladders which move the stone horizontally then they would shape the stone to fit, and then pry it into position. There has been documentation of this experiment and it’s 100% probability the scientific method was used to prove this theory!!!
