The most sad part of this, is this is what happens to our veterans also, some of them don't have families or a place to go after the war. Thus there pretty much without a home and basically poor or broke. If the common person gets treatment to help them out of hard times, our veterans should also.

Oh geez The way that the guidebook makes it sound, i feel like you can actually name some of the backround troops because of this Theres only like, one or two clones from the 501st ground team that survived teth with Rex And in one of the scenes in Umbara, we can see Kix dragging away an injured clone and giving him somthing to stop the hurting Last ones mainly speculation, but even if its just headcanon, fonally having a name makes it alot cooler. Always love when backround characters get names and little bits and peices of importance in star wars!always makes it feel like theres more going on than just the main characters stories.

He can’t have survived the battle of Teth. Out of the 3 AT-TEs Anakin took on that suicide mission only Captain Rex and another clone survived until Kenobi arrived. The third clone tried punching a super battle droid and was killed. We know the other clone was Ridge cause of the fact he is on the tribunal

We only saw a portion of The 501st unit in combat in the movie on teth there was also a 4th gunship that we never saw land or get shot down so he could've been on it. Rex lead Torrent Company and I find it hard too Believe the whole company got wiped on Teth

This is actually heartbreaking. Rewatching the clone wars as an adult, those battles must have been traumatizing to 10 year olds in the body of 20 year olds (would have been traumatic to anyone, let’s be real), survived all of those only to be homeless and begging for food. Maybe one of the darkest things in Star Wars (which is saying a lot)

People will probably focus a lot on his service on Umbara under Krell, but let’s give some credit to the earlier battles. Both Teth and Christophsis were clone massacres. During Teth, the company that assaulted the palace was wiped out nearly to a man, with only a handful of clones still standing by the end of the fighting. And Christophsis(which may or may not have been happening simultaneously, it’s not really clear) ended up being a shitshow due to Sgt Slick’s defection. Not only did Slick give the confederates crucial info on their defenses but he also crippled their ability to fight by blowing up their vehicle depot, destroying every ATTE in the battalion and probably most of their heavy guns. Christophsis devolved into hand to hand fighting at points due to lack of ammunition, a situation that did NOT favour the clones.
