Thank you mate 🙏🏻 Sweden is more beautiful yet, but yeah Scotland ain't too shabby at all 😅 Cheers for your kind words. Episode 2 and 3 won't disappoint, if you enjoyed this one, you'll definitely enjoy them 😊👍🏻

great video Kev, looking forward to the next installment. something i'm going to look into for next year i think. it'll be the NC1000 for me coming up from west sussex.

That's a fair trek for you Rob 🙈 but it'll be a brilliant road trip either way! In episode 3 I've got answers for some commonly asked questions and a few tips as well, so hopefully that will be of some use for your planning of it all. Cheers mate 😊

Cant wait for the next episode! Me and my wife did the NC500 coast trip in a VW transporter camper for our honeymoon in late august 2021. it was an amazing experience, especially for someone from essex england! Keep up the great work chief, from a fellow MK2 Leon owner :)

Cheers James, and glad you had such a great experience on the route. It is something completely different and epic to find within the UK, but a fair distance to travel for yourself to get to the start of it. I'd quite like to try the route again in a camper with the family. Would be a different experience again. Cheers for watching and commenting James 🙏🏻😊

Brilliant video guys you had me hooked in the first four minutes as I was laughing out loud at your banter. Being a North East loon myself I appreciated the scenery of Scotland and you fairly got the weather but then again it's usually drier in the East rather than here in the West where I now live. Just the one problem if you are going to show a Broch for the tourists it's aye better to hide the JCB that was parked across the road that knocked it up in an afternoon. I really appreciated the cars. I have owned most of the hot hatches over the years from an Escort Si to an Ibiza, Primera, MG ZR, Fiesta ST, 208 GTi, Corsa VXR, Civic Sport+ to my current hottest of all the i-Pace unless you discount it either as an SUV or it doesn't count being non ICE. Both your cars are really tidy and I wondered how many times you stopped to clean brake dust from your alloys before shots and what products you were carrying to do touch up jobs on route. The forfeit feature was class and should have the Top Gear producers contacting you in the near future. It goes without saying I liked and subscribed to your channel and wish you all the best with growing it but I am sure it will take off and if it doesn't I'm sure you could all take up a career in Stand-up.

Hey John, firstly thank you for watching and of course subscribing 🙏🏻 I wish I was able to do these trips more often on my channel, so hopefully ur not disappointed with the standard car vids I make. But myself and the guys are keen to do another big adventure, so keep and eye out. Secondly thank you for taking the time to comment. I love hearing viewers backgrounds and past car history. And what a history of hot hatches you've had!! I'm very jealous!! And especially glad to hear you enjoyed the video being a local urself, as we're definitely harder to impress sometimes 😂 Thanks again mate!! 😊👍🏻

@@NorthCoastWorkshop Not had a chance to watch any of your back catalouge yet but it may help as my son (21) has just bought a 91 plate, Mk1 MX5 pretty mint with north of 100k miles on it so I guess we will be tinkering with it for a few years but at least we kept his first car a 63 plate Fiesta Titanium with the Zetec S dress up kit on it for the winter when he is back to Uni in Aberdeen as rear wheel drive not so good in snow & ice not that you get it as much these days. When I was a boy we got snow 6 months of the year deep in rural Deeside.

Great video gents. Very amusing. Graeme’s banter always on form. Shame he drives a Vauxhall though…😂😜. Nice editing too, taken a while to put this together! 👍

Much appreciated 😊🙏🏻 yeah the 3 episodes did take a 'wee while' to edit! 🙈😅 Graeme was on form throughout, but yeah the VXR..... well not everyone is perfect 😂

Fascinating reading of a local doing the five hundred. Not surprised you are driving cars and not a house on wheels. Enjoy the single tracks along the way and give us a pap on the horn when you drive past. We are thinking we have seen a few less motor homes this year. More renter vehicles, but less of them in total. Is this the beginning of some small lifting of the motor home single track torment we have suffered for so long? Life could be just too easy if suddenly motor homes and single tracks don’t happen more!

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment on the video. Where roughly do you live on the route? Day 2 and day 3 finishing off the complete NC500 are live on the channel if you want to see the rest of the adventure. We absolutely loved it!! Was way better than we could have ever imagined, and a brilliant experience that now lives on KZbin forever 😊
