my theory is that pennywise doesn't kill adults as much because their fears are too abstract like "I'm scared of my tuition debt, I'm scared of not being successful, i'm scared of bullies small social cliques because i have social anxiety" like what is he going to turn into an empty bank safe? he's going to grill me about the latest episode of the bachelorette that i didn't watch or flaunt his LV bag that i can't afford? and also if he's going to stalk me what's he going to turn into? my excel spreadsheet? my boss? i'd just report his ass to HR. "clown gets cancelled for hazing and overall being inappropriate to new employee".

I thought it was a bizarre development that the writers of the new films chose to make Ben the nerd for local history that spends his free time in the library but then have Mike grow up to be the one literally living in the library and running it. It worked to preserve that storyline for the first miniseries; I'd love to hear why they made that change.

The bit of the book where Stuttering Bill confronts the creature in the deadlights in order to save Audra is one of the very coolest parts of the book. In it we glimpse the true depths of the creature and come to understand that IT never realized it "could " die until the Losers made it. That is the source of It's hatred for them and why it offers them a bribe to let IT live.

So many Steven King novels tie in together. The turtle is mentioned in the Dark Tower series. So are the vampires from Salems Lot. Insomnia mentioned Gage from Pet Cemetery. The man in black from the Dark Tower series was also Randall Flag from The Stand.
@georgen58824 ай бұрын
Flagg was also in The Eyes of the Dragon, and the two brothers were mentioned in the dark tower somewhere I thought. Many of his books tie together. Hearts in Atlantis has ties to dark tower also. I think it’s because he wrote the gunslinger very early on, even though it wasn’t his first published book. I could be wrong, but I read a while back he wrote that while in college. Or at least wrote an outline for it. He must have loved it because he wrote 7 books about it. Most of his books are just one off novels otherwise.

I get not everyone was blessed with “good genetics” and I say that with the most respect but there always something you can do to make yourself physically and mentally better what do you expect why should a girl lower her standards just for you ,same goes for guys,because I’m sure if you the same guys who are whining;if you were to be a good looking dude and a girl who wasn’t “socially beauty standards” asked you out I’m sure you would of also had 2nd thoughts and feelings as opposed to “beautiful” girl you wouldn’t. I would go into more detail but for what guys like y’all are toxic and annoying for both men and women to be around (most)of the time. I know because I known people who would blame beautiful girls for their problems on why they couldn’t find love and all girls are hoes and sluts and what not And being a bitchy whiner doesn’t help your situation either just saying Now leave me alone😂✌🏽
