The thing about Stan Lee's cameo in this is movie is that it was the first after he had passed away a month earlier. Seeing him in that scene where the characters were coping with the loss of a great hero really mirrored what many in the comic fandom were going through while mourning the loss of this man that helped to bring so many of our favorite heroes to life on the page and screen. It's simultaneously one of my favorite cameos and one that is hardest to watch, especially when he said, "I'm going to miss him."

On you're Green Goblin question it really depends on which comic universe. The Goblin we see in this film is based heavily on the Ultimate Green Goblin from The Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610) the same universe in which the character of Miles Morales was introduced too back in 2011's Ultimate Comics: Fallout #4. This Goblin was created when Norman Osborn tested the OZ Serum on himself, a re-creation of the Super Solider Serum used to turn Steve Rogers into Captain America over 6 decades ago. This transforms Norman into a hulking monster that resembles a Goblin. In the Mainline Marvel Universe of Prime Earth (Earth-616) Norman is closer to what you two know of Goblin from the live action movies. Norman was efforted by a chemical solution which granted him superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, and stamina as well as a low-level rapid healing factor. He then took the identify of Green Goblin dawning a Goblin outfit and using a Glider to fly around on just like the films. Visually he looks the same like the Sam Rami films so the Goblin identity was also used to hide who he was so that Norman could still continue on with his normal life running Oscorp. This is true for other renditions of the character as well from cartoons to live action films etc. Peter B Parker is closer to the Earth-616 comics so his Green Goblin would be what I described above.

There's actually been several Spider-Women. The Spiderman in sweatpants is supposed to be the original Spiderman from the comics - not the Tobey McGuire one or any other from the various movies. The big albino Frankenstein's Monster-looking guy is called Tombstone - basically just hired muscle for the Kingpin. This is the most comic-book-accurate depiction of Kingpin on any screen, ever. It would be very hard to do him right, visually, in live action. Scorpion, the Prowler (Miles' uncle), and the other characters shown are all well-established Spiderman villains, although some of them are slightly different from the mainline comics (like Doc Ock being Olivia instead of Otto). Spider-Ham (Peter Porker) was a spider bitten by a radioactive pig. In the comics, he actually predates all the other alternate Spider-people.

One of my favorite tiny details in this movie is when Miles shows up to the fight near the end and where Peter says "Miles?" and Doc Ock says "Spider-Man..?" I mean it definitely wasn't said like "another Spider-Man?" it was more like "wait... hold on... Spider-Man is back?" I think that line delivered in that particular way was kinda like the movie establishing that Miles' new determination and confidence is getting him acknowledged as his universe's "official" Spider-Man.

Also I feel is underappreciated is when Miles defeats Kingpin with the shoulder touch... A big part of what finally made him become Spider-Man was losing his uncle... Who was killed by Kingpin. So he defeats Kingpin by using a trick his uncle taught him. That's some poetic justice.

Andrew’s Spider-Man movie adaptation, they had in plan to have Emma Stone to be Spider Gwen and they also had in plan Doc Oc, Rhino, Green Goblin. Peter’s coworker Felicia Hardy was also meant to be Black Cat ( Another of Spider-Man’s love interests) but Sony had to mess it up big time

"Why would he be sticking to her hair, though?" Crazy enough, *every* part of Spider-Man's body can stick to *anything*. He can stick people to his back like a backpack to carrying them to safety, or choose to stick his mask to his face so you can't unmask him, or anything you can imagine really. :)

Oh btw, did you see towards the end, spider ham, aka Peter porker is actually eating a sandwich of sorts, all is good, except that which he is eating is human meat. That's from the comics.. 😂😂 comics is all sorts of messed up.

The gray dude with the flat-top is Tombstone. He’s sort of a C-list Marvel villain.

Out of all the reactions of this movie I’ve seen no one knows, Tombstone. At the part where they’re wrecking aunt May’s house, when they show the grey dude, everyone says, who’s that? Or, who’s he supposed to be? His name is, Lonnie Lincoln, aka Tombstone. He’s a crime boss in New York, one of Spider-Man’s foes.

Miles is Afro-Latino. He’s African American through his father Jefferson (or Jeff) and Puerto Rican through his mother Rio. If you think about it, the term no expectations has several different meanings: 1.) Miles' parents and teachers wanting him to succeed 2.) the Spider crew giving him a hard time assuming he can learn as fast as they did 3.) the box office Given the reputation that Sony Pictures Animation has compared to other animation studios, some people feared that it wasn’t going to be successful. Even though not many people invested in it the first time like they did with the live-action Spider-Man films, this movie still set the bar high for animation, made more in the box office than it was spent on, and introduced many people to Miles and other Spider-Heroes. Over the past 2-3 years, many other reactors have also watched this movie for the first time and given their own positive thoughts about it. Those include but are not limited to ItsTotallyCody, Mary Cherry, Natalie Gold, Sebscreen, Maple from Diegesis, Laika Jai TV, Laila Naema, Addie Counts, AkinReacts, Rico & Monica, Alex Hefner, Mr. Video, MellVerse, BillyBinges, Don Townsend, and Movies with Mary. Canadian reactor Kaielle plans to watch it at some point. What’s still peculiar to me is that they implemented comic books in a comic book film. It’s kinda ironic because that’s not something usually done with superhero comic book films which have become the norm. The entire film itself is one massive comic book. From the speech bubbles to the text boxes to the panels to the splash art, it’s almost as if us the audience are flipping through the pages as we’re watching the film. We also got the most wholesome Stan Lee cameo ever. This film premiered about a month after he passed away. The What’s Up Danger scene continues to be one of the best superhero moments ever. Miles got the confidence he needed to hear from his father, creates his own Spider-Man suit, and takes the leap of faith with What’s Up, Danger playing in the background. I also thought it was cool to see Miles take that first leap with an upside-down city in the background. It represents that he’s rising up. His origin story culminates with his own signature comic, and his first solo swing run shows that he’s finally prepared to fulfill his calling. I also loved Miles’ closing monologue. Spider-Man has been my favorite Marvel character since I was a kid, but when Miles said anyone can wear the mask, I felt moved. My biggest hope is kids who watch this movie feel that way as well and imagine themselves as their own version of a Spider-Hero. There are two sequels on the way. The second film Across the Spider-Verse will hit digital in about a month or two. In March 2024, we’re getting Beyond the Spider-Verse. Oscar Isaac voiced Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 in the post credit scene, and he’s gonna have a prominent role in Across the Spider-Verse. There’s also a Spider-Woman spinoff in the works with Hailee expected to return as Gwen. And finally, late musician Juice WRLD collaborated with Seezyn in the song called Hide. Juice would have been 24 today.

I’m so glad y’all caught that Gwen came in a week earlier because most reactors didn’t catch this the first watch. Most reactors wondered how she was seen before the Collider went off but it’s because the multiverse has no sense of time. Peter b. Parker could have came in a year earlier or two weeks after the collider went off and it’s because of this reason, it just varies. They were just really lucky they all came around the same time (roughly).

This is by far the best Spiderman movie. Until I saw the sequel in theaters and now that one's my favorite. It somehow does everything the first one does but better. And the first one was already a 10/10. Such a great series, cant wait for you to see the sequel.
