Best comment ever was: "Yeah, this sport is going downhill. Fast."

We need more downhill races in a season and June is way too late for the first race is year.

BrenDog was saying the same about making the UCI DH tracks technically harder on the Ride Companion podcast a few weeks ago. He felt that parts of the track should only be possible at pace for the top 10 or 20 riders (presumably with slower chicken lines for those features, as there are already on most UCI DH courses. What wasn’t discussed, which worries me, is the diversity conundrum of the Women’s and Junior races running the same tracks. I can’t help feeling that Jackson and Jenna could ride the lot, but those chicken lines would be needed. As a viewer, I’d be all in favour and all have to race the same track. Viewing quality, Race excitement and standards would all go up. Would there be more injuries? No, I don’t think so. At this level, there’s no chance of getting down quickly by just trying to go flat out and taking risks. At this level, although it’s not said much, I believe like in F1, only maybe 60% of brain power is given to keeping the bike upright with the rest about tactics, choices and risk judgement in the moment.

The weekend after Sea Otter is TDS Enduro. Some of the Rampage riders do it. Any interest from Pinkbike?

You don't really need mud tires in the PNW but for the Alps especially les Portes du Soleil you need a set of dirt dan otherwise you will cry on technical steep black trail.

It's only been 8 minutes, how the heck is this guy already commenting something about a good looking bike the video's 20 minutes long...

I can’t be the only one who thinks Ben Cathro is boring. I skip any video he is in because he lacks actual human enthusiasm
