WE FLEW TO THAILAND AFTER 2 YEARS STUCK IN AUSTRALIA!!! (and got upgraded to business class)

It finally happened - after two years of no international travels, the borders opened and we jumped on a plane to Thailand! That's right, Thailand is open to tourists and we were so excited about it that we literally took the first flight out of Australia.
We were given the opportunity to be on the first direct flight from Sydney to Phuket with Thai Airways, and it was one of the most surreal experiences ever.
We will be spending 16 days travelling Thailand, visiting some of our favourite destinations like Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Koh Yao Noi. But our first stop was the Sydney International Airport. Being the first flight was a big deal, and there was a massive celebration. And much to our surprise we were actually upgraded to Thai Airways business class! We've never been upgraded before, so we were like kids at Christmas.
Afterwards we jumped on a transfer and ended up on the beautiful island of Koh Yao Noi, where we checked into the fantastic Cape Kudu Hotel to wait for our results to come in. And wow, wait until you see this epic room we stayed in!

Hi, no as Australian passport holders you do not need a visa for Thailand. As a tourist you can stay 30 days. All the best. :)
