I'd say that's over fishing, if everyone did that you could easily wipe out all the bluegill in that lake. Quite stupid in my opinion .

Cole, I was so thrilled when you and Caleb befriended each other a couple years ago. He is a most gracious and humble host. We love him and 903 Fishing. This time I was so thankful that Jay got to attend and enjoy a day she’ll never forget. Next time Caleb comes your was I’d love for you to take him trout fishing. We don’t have a lot of that down here. Fantastic video of 3 of my favorite fishing folks.

Cole you are a very fortunate man. You have been given the most marvelous lady for a wife, and two absolutely beautiful children. To have a lady that likes the same things you do is a gift that just keeps on giving. If you appreciate these things, you should give thanks to the God of all things for his awesome blessings poured upon you. I am not hitting you with a religious frying pan, just a reminder to be thankful for what you have got. In my opinion it doesn't get any better then that.

Epic day out for sure. When your catching bluegill like that there is usually something that will come up. That was surely a downpour but well worth the drench! I do watch 903 fishing occasionally. I see one or two this size every now and then. This is awesome.
@Lee-yy2lr6 ай бұрын
The reason you only see one or two once in a while is from the over harvesting of the large major egg layers over the years,as shown in this video. Very large bluegills used to be very abundant everywhere.
@gillgetter30046 ай бұрын
Wow those are big, I caught them in Florida once or twice. Different fish than the northern strain of bluegills. The Michigan DNR put red ears in a few lakes to have some bigger panfish. Successful introduction in a few lakes I fish especially where the zebra mussels are👍

Thats so funny a catch like that was a VERY common catch as I was growing up in the metro Atl ga area and numerous ponds, creeks, and lakes. Sad that you have to use the term use to. Very large bluegills were very common years ago, but years of overfishing have left many lakes with a stunted population.
