That Jetta has a Smyth kit for that truck conversion. They make them for a few vehicles, a lifted beetle TDI truck is the dream

Reason those fenders rust on the Jetta is vw put little foam bricks in the wheel wells and if water gets in there then they are essentially wet sponges holding water against the fender

I forget what kind of truck you have but I could see you save a decent amount if you got like a 3 car gooseneck trailer or something. Especially since your going to dealer auctions a lot. Guess it really depends on how close most of your auctions are. Keep up the good work man!

Agree, at least a two car trailer. How many cars do you usually buy at auction? Figure your grandfather can drive one. So if you are buying three or more, a bigger trailer makes sense.

Craig, when do you think prices will normalize? Right now, new & used prices are INSANE to me. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 crewcab lonestar edition with 90K miles. Usually it’s about time I start looking for a new one. But not in this market. It makes more sense to just keep driving it. And i’m in Texas, Rust isn’t a problem 😂

I think the question is how valuable is your time Craig? If saving 190$ by doing the transport yourself is worth 2 hours of your time then I'd do it. But consider your buddies time plus fuel round trip. I'd probably still do it myself because the old saying is true...if you want something done right ect...

Craig have a transport company move your vehicles. We would pick up all our vehicles back in the day and one day I decided never again. We’ve never looked back it’s not worth the time especially if you lose a sale while your gone. My 2 cents after 30 years of this biz

Great content Sir. If I were you, I'd just pay transport to move the cars. If you have a trailer, just move 1 yourself, and transport the other 2. It keeps the $$$ moving in the industry, and your employees can concentrate on what they are doing at the shop. Never know what problems arise while you're driving the hour with an unknown car. By the WAY: I'm still waiting for the Flying Wheels license plate. Thanks..

3:35 I see Jeep Trackhawks with low-ish miles and clean titles listed for upwards of $110k pretty regularly now they're out of production, not sure if they actually "sell" that high but I sure see them listed for it.

They do sell for that. I have one, and they are selling for 85k-105k regularly depending on year and miles. A 2018 with 50k miles selling for 75-80k that's the lowest I've seen one go for

There is a tool to remove the spark plugs on those Ford 5.4 engines. It makes removing those broken plugs super easy. I’ve made a very good amount of money taking them out. The tool paid for itself on the second use.

Buy that LX notch and fix it up. It nice condition, they go for $30k+ You need a gooseneck trailer for 3 cars. You might need to get a CDL to pull it though.
