I live in Japan and I was moved by this video! I feel great that guitars exist in life itself in the USA, including the owner's car and his wife's flowers. My last dream is to visit your shop someday and buy a guitar.

It's all gone now. Those days are history. Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker; none of them make them like they use to. They all would like to recreate those days for revenue sake, but the materials and workmanship are gone. Everything America was admired for is gone, replaced by jokers like Elon Musk. America is a mere shell of itself.

Yeah, I agree. I currently own a Fender Custom Shop, and it's an AMAZING instrument! In fact, it's probably the finest electric guitar I have played. Much better than I remember a vintage Fender being. I think the custom shop are currently making instruments better now than the original 50s, 60s, and 70s guitars. The idea that the vintage stuff is better is simply a myth.

That 54’ Stratocaster was simply amazing. I’m sure it was bittersweet parting with it, regardless of the offer, because of it’s connection to his beloved father. May it end up in a buyer’s hands, that cherishes it as much as his father once did.✨🎁

Blast from the past. Fender transitional CBS 1966 four colour sunburst (Black, Red, Yellow, Clear) Fender Strat with same case, sadly stolen, but good to see these vintage guitars still showing up in great condition.🤩

Wow! I cannot believe this video! I saw the story title and had to tune in- one owner 54 Strat? Yes, I need to see this. So I tune in, start watching, then you arrive at the seller’s house - and it says his name is Jeff Faris. Wait, what? Is that Jeff Faris from Yakima Wa.? So I start paying closer attention and then his wife says her name is Brenda, and that’s it! I went to high school with Jeff, his sister was in my class he was a grade or two above me. Never saw Jeff after high school until years later. My sister in law Shelly was a para pro for the Selah school district and taught Jeff and Brenda’s special needs grandson, and as a thank you to her, they let her and my brother Roy use their mountain cabin. Spent many a beautiful weekend there. Super nice people. What a one in a million video to stumble across! So what did it sell for?

This is a fabulous video.Great edit there when that '57 blew by ... Wish I had the dough to bring this to my house ... mine went out the back window of my brother's '61 station wagon in July of 1965 when we forgot to put up the back glass due to exhaustion ... such is life ... @@keiranbradley3238 Haha! Love that! I am fortunate to have an American Original '50s Stratocaster in White Blonde, and as a Fender player of 61 years, I can say that they are great guitars, in their own right! And I think the lacquer is okay, it just has a very thin polyurethane "undershirt" sealer. Even still, the guitar is acoustically very resonant. Hard to get anything that's pure goodness anymore without spending $4-7 thousand ... just crazy!
