That place was called FPC boron. I used to work there when I first started with the bureau. That place was called our training center where we held gatherings once a month and we also worked out there. All those houses were staff housing for the upper management. The biggest house in that circle was the wardens. I ran the last shop on the left before you get to the FAA tower. I ran the communication shop

Every time I see videos of abandoned homes in the middle of nowhere, I wonder whether I could fix one up and live in it without being harassed or get into any trouble for doing so. I prefer being far, far away from people and living in the middle of nowhere would be great. I lived in a tent for almost a year west of Phoenix, AZ, just south of I-10. It was so awesome and peaceful.
@alanschon66446 жыл бұрын
I think exactly the same. However I live in the UK and all public space is owned by either local councils or Ministry of defence or National trusts. Every where has lots of rules and laws attached so you could not just find some where derelict and live there, even living in a tent is some woods a local council would move you on. It seems that there is much more freedom in the USA do do these types of things. Are the ghost towns out there owned by anyone or could you in fact move in and live there? All land in the UK is owned by someone even the PUBLIC land

Hey guys really enjoy your channel. Want to give you an update. The whole facility has been removed. The only thing left is the FAA RADAR tower. There is a great deal of history in the area, for instance the crash sites for the YB49 (the pilot who died in the crash is the person that Edwards AFB is named after) , XB70, the Borax mine, AFRL rocket site and much more. This area has a very long history of strangeness.

My great grandfather owed 200 acres of land out in Yarnell Arizona. He left it to the family. But since then the owner of the land next to our land took the water source. The rushing river that ran through the land is no more. It had 3 houses and an outhouse. Now there’s just 1 house and the place were the food was cooked. It was like a benched area. It’s been years since any family has gone out there. Probably 20 years. It be nice to you all to go out there and explore. There used to be a water pump but someone stole it last time we were out there 19 years ago. The owners next door also put up a fence so we can’t access our own land. I remember seeing lots of old building and structures out there going towards the land.
