Axe. I've watched that poor monkey at base have an eating disorder for the past 2 episodes. Please heal him, or put the poor thing out of it's misery 🤣 GGs on the boss attempt though! I've never done a full Sweepa/Swee team but I've seen the cracked numbers it can hit. I highly recommend waiting for the shotgun as well, but the single shot rifle for SURE is nice to have. Especially if you can dig up a good bp for it

@@TheAxeManLP When I made my run at it, I had Rare level Refined Metal Armor, and Uncommon Assault Rifle/Pump Shotgun, and I used mainly my Jormuntide Ignis. Even with that it was still rough. One thing I would mention, if you build and keep something like berries or bread, or whatever in the Feed Bag, which you will have to replace every time you die, unfortunately, it will automatically feed yourself and the pals not currently being used as mounts.

While I understand that your wanted, the endless spawning of the PIDF guards just looks so silly but I have a nice idea for them: if they see you, you can get away but if you return, you can still roam freely so long as they don't notice you again🙂

The feed bag will feed them automatically if you put your food in the slot at the bottom of your inv. screen.

It's a wildlife santuary. You land on it and it is trespassing. But, you need to in order to get some of the pals and the flowers for the flowerpot (which is pretty and gives benefits so you need them). I got the fire guy by breeding random stuff and I love him, just can't put a saddle on him yet. Yes, that cool! Popping out my fire guy when the raids happen really helps, everyone is totally fine.

I wouldn't have gotten this far if it wasn't for your videos. There is a wildlife place no.3 northeast, past the desert. My favorite pal spawns there ; Shadowbeak! 21:30 Well..... Theres always a loophole. Dont get off your mount. You can literally walk up to tye cops and they wont care. Just be careful of using large mounts. Collision dmg will aggro them.

Good sh.t axe!! Love it, but why you don't explore the whole Sanctuary Islands No.1,2,3 and four missing all the goodies. Fruits skills trees and legends items on chest. Rinse repeat. Oh legendary schematics for handgun are drop 3% chance by beating or capture then butcher( double drop) the boss beakon lvl29. Cords -342 ,-260.😊❤

So, PDIF on those islands - you only get wanted when you get off your pal. So if you arrive on a flyer and stay on, you can keep roaming the area no trouble. To get rid of it, get far enough away (behind the structure is an option) and dismount. It won't disappear until you dismount somewhere safe

Hey Axe! The inventory line at the bottom of your Inv screen is your feed bag. If you just put the food or berries in their the pals and your character will eat automatically!

Don't worry Axe, you made the right call retreating from the Lucky Vanwrym - at level 48 the only way you were catching that thing was by making a grinding video where you fire every bit of ammo you have after your handgun runs out for 1 damage per shot and then spamming balls at it until you actually hit the 0.1% catch rate by pure determination. The reason you're doing more damage with your pistol in the boss fights is because bosses have boss level defence stats, meaning your Pal's attack damage is cut down. Higher level Pals hit harder, so this matters less to them, but if your pal is too low level their attack does basically nothing. I don't know the damage calcs of player weapons, but they're far more generous in how much damage is knocked off because the endgame guns start unlocking in the late level 20's and then have to serve you all the way to level 50, so their damage drop off against higher level bosses is worked out differently to Pal attacks (though even then, with the endgame bosses you still need to crit hit or you might as well be throwing grapes at them). As for Axel and Ozerk, I wouldn't try them again until level 40 (Pals, not just you), and even then they'll be hard. Definitely bring more than one super effective Pal (Earth or Ice) and focus on recalling them to dodge attacks because while a few are vey tank-able a few others hit HARD. Also try to let your Pal hold most of the focus in the higher level boss fights, as a lot of their attacks are one shotting me if my shields are down even with 2300 base health and Pal Armour and even if your Pal can't tank it much better than you can (which varies, some absolutely can) you have five Pals and only one you.

I found that ground attacks worked better on Axel & Orserk than ice attacks. If you can get a Reptyro Cryst from an egg thats an ice and ground type

The best pals for farming sanctuaries are those that can both fly and run on the ground, because you dont get wanted status unless you dismount, so for midgame i would say it's elphidran/aqua and shadowbeak for late game

When you go to the sanctuary areas don't get off the flyer. They will do not attack if you don't touch the ground. At least until they fix it.

Poor Gorirat, has an eating disorder from stress eating all the time! Take better care of your pals, Axe! smh Also, Ice Reptyro is literally the perfect counter to Orserk (Ice/Ground) They spawn naturally inside the snow dungeons in the big snow biome, or you can cross-breed a regular reptyro with a foxicle to get one. Reptyro is also one of the best mining pals in the game, so it's a win-win! And, yes, there is a third sanctuary in the top-right corner of the map.

The Sanctuaries are considered criminal because of the fact you'll be poaching. I've seen a video where you can avoid the crimes if you tame from a flyer. Also for a little extra lore: Jormuntide is inspired by Jörmungandr, the World Snake, in Norse mythology.

Put a stack of food in the empty food slots in your player inventory/gear. It's been sitting there empty for many episodes while you feed them all individually by hand... Hunting for pals in a protected sanctuary is the illegal activity. And please stop killing the amazing pals that you find. You should be catching minimum of 10 of everything you see. Not waiting and killing stuff because you don't like it or something?
