You know that Blazamut is a Dragon/Fire. You set up an entire base full of Ice pals, which are weak to fire. One fire hit and your entire team wiped. I would suggest water pals.

its crazy how that passive works. works entirely different than i thought it worked. i figured if a pal had that skill, it would sell for more. had no clue it was just like vanguard and stronghold strategist, and its just a passive that gets applied when those pals are in your group, and then you get a barter bonus equal to their total sum. makes those two skills so much better

The fight gave you a "Blazamut Rya (Ultra) slab" meaning there could be a ultra boss fight when you kill normal Blazamut Ryu 4 times (15:12)

There is an area on one the islands where it's a Pit. I was able make the summoning post down inside the pit. Fighting Belnoir, it does great and I can have the beds on upper part. The palls shoot down at her. Sadly, Ryu teleports around uptop and oneshots the palls Though he can get stuck in the pit at times. Maybe try that location? couldn't hurt maybe.

If it helps for the future; the fire typing of Blazemut Ryu cancels put the effectiveness of ice type pals, so you're best off with water type pals and since Jormuntide is the strongest water type pal, breeding some Jormuntide for combat is probably anyone's best shot. I assume the next strongest raid boss the devs will add will be ice or grass type because Blazemut Ryu and Bellanoir so far have been the next most effective typing. Maybe they'll add a new pal that will be stronger than Frostallian or Warsect when they do this, but it couldn't hurt to breed combat pals to be sure. I could be completely wrong though so take this with a grain of salt. Even so though, I do think it would help anyone else fighting bosses to try and breed the strongest pal of each tying for combat, just in case. I know it's possible to teach any pal any move with skill fruits, but it's more about the type advantage than moves in that regard.

I beat the legendary boss by cheesing it. Had 3 bases clear to each other. 1st base had missle launcher defense built on 2 sides with 20 in total and all lv 50+ Anubis manning them. Then had water pals out. On both other bases I filled it with ground pals and whatever else strong. I attacked and drew agro in the air and has the middle launchers so work. When they all died I lured over to base 2, he gained health there and wiped the pals. Them dragged to base 3. I finished with 80 seconds left. Very difficult.

The last raid boss, is fire proof, it packs a punch, and I'm level 55 with light palsteel armor, with all the new weapons on me and I still can't beat it. my health is 6k, I got the really awesome shield, and my jetragons are all level 55 so clearly I'm doing something wrong or something. I can get it down to maybe 100k health before time runs out. I'm trying everything. I still don't have the last tower boss or the way of catching it with a meteor drop... but I will soon...hopefully. But your video does help me. Thank you!

The reason why your team gets annihilated so quickly is because blazamit Ryu is not only a dragon element, but also a fire element and fire is strong to ice so it's better if you use water element instead
