what a darling. reminds me of walking my own wee rescue dog Zero up the big graveyard where I used to live. It was next to a big country park so there was lots of fun for the doggy. I couldn't get about in a car like you but I gave him a good 3 mile romp every day. And on the way back we passed a pet supplies shop so I could get him snacks and goodies and he was so well behaved he never grabbed stuff and ate it out of the baskets, he always knew I had to buy it for him first. He died 15 years ago and I've never had a dog (or any pet) since. He was a one-off.

The view at the beginning is fantastic. How cute Sherps is looking over the table lanyard to see if anything might fall off Dad's breakfast. 😁 Sherpa and Dad are two happy boys. The closer you got to the mountain, the prettier it got. The perfect weather makes it perfect all around.😍 The cemetery above is very vivid and beautiful. You really deserve the break in BigRed. Happy mothers day to granny! And all other mothers. Driving the steep incline and decline reminds me of neighborhoods all around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania U.S.A but instead of the Atlantic Ocean in the background here it is the Allegheny, Monongalia and the Ohio rivers.

Yes, that winding uphill and downhill reminds me of driving through the Smoky Mountains between Knoxville TN and Asheville NC. We have the French Broad River. It’s a beautiful drive. In the winter the waterfalls are frozen; so amazing.

Its always almost kind of startlingly when you see just how many hills there are in northern England, Wales & Scotland, when you live in a county that is infamous for being relatively flat & covered in water. The architecture in coastal resorts is almost identical though, wherever you go, but i guess that's down to the Victorians & their love of seaside getaways from the cities, after the advent of the railways.

when the trams are running in Llandudno, there should be a cable car up and down the Great Orme (if either of them allow dogs aboard?). The Orme also has a population of celebrity goats who would wander down into the town during the Covid lockdowns

I never knew that Wales was so scenic. Conpared to the other countries of the UK--England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland--you don't hear as much about Wales here in Canada. It might also have something to do with the fact that fewer Welsh people emigrated to Canada than English, Scottish and Irish people. Too bad the tram wasn't operating. But, Sherpa's looking great, as usual!

Wales is absolutely stunning from gorgeous Snowdonia to the absolutely beautiful Pembrokeshire and a lot in between. So lucky to have been able to visit many times. Jamie and Sherpa are always giving me ideas of where to go next. Canada is so beautiful too but I’ve only seen it on the television. Would love to visit one day.

Toasted soldiers! At first I didn't realize what those things were that Jamie was having along with his eggs, until thy made noise sliding on the dish. A battalion of fallen soldiers! I've never cut up toast into such small sticks to eat with soft-boiled eggs. I usually have poached or over-easy eggs though, with light toast and butter. But I love the colloquial terminology... entirely new to my American ears.
