I accidentally had it playing at two times speed... That was freaking funny, they sounded like a couple of Furbies Rattling on in their own mystical language...and looked like a couple Rock Stars on A Copious amount 9f Cobain, running around bouncing off of each other.. This building has a lot of similar traits as a care home I grew up in as a child, such as the office room with a staff toilet, magnetic alarmed doors, theres a lock on the kitchen door too to lock it at night, and even the aga, and walled off safe too! (ours was under the stairs). My best guess would be it was a children's home (that would explain all the kids stuff) and a care company needed make the building safe for children but couldn't alter the original building due to some listing status, hence the modern windows covering the originals. I even bet the windows had some kind of restrictors to stop them being opened all the way. I now see the locks on the top floor on the original windows, they're also the same locks my home had, I stole one to lock myself in my room once so the staff couldn't interfere with me hehe. The safes most likley held cash for the home and the allowances of each child as well as all the archived documentation of previous residents ect. I knew you'd do a flip Alex I was waiting for it 😂

Really fun explore! Very cute home back in the day for sure! Doorbell was late 60’s early 70’s. I’m from the US. The burgundy bathroom was horrid. First I’ve seen. Love the roofing tiles in the UK! Very nice stairway railing. Alex slinking through the ‘secret room’ was beyond fun. You’ll have to watch it later Ed! Why in the world would anyone use plain colored wallpaper as opposed to just painting? I do know the UK uses thicker paint than we use here in the US, but that was odd. Love all of you guys. So fun to see Steve along for the journey. Ed is such a ‘Gas’, LOL! The trampoline was beyond fun @ the end and so glad each one took a turn. Love all of your explores and have learned so much about the UK. Thank you all so much!

Which torches are you lot using ? Think i spotted an olight marauder, serious lighting indeed, just wondered as some seem really powerful ? Great uploads as usual guys , how do you find these places btw , i looked after an old kids polio hospital years ago, love architectural antiques etc , im surprised organizations like the heritage fund dont do more with them regards at least keeping the roof watertight and securing them properly
