Because of you I am learning a lot about Ohio’s geography, and I would love to travel to many of the places you shop. Now to convince my husband that a month camping in Ohio is something he wants to do. Here in Grand Rapids we have had some very winter weather and he hopes to head south as soon as we think we can safely travel. I would be willing to go camping in Ohio now if we could hit thrift shops…..but it’s not going to happen 😝

He pulled my hair together in the front and cut it in one swoop with a razor! 😳 I watched 8” of hair fall to the ground! When our cherry tree produced, I used to make cherry jam. In fact (to brag a little), one year at the county fair, my cherry jam not only won the blue ribbon in the jam class, but also was named grand champion in the entire preserved foods category. When you say something is a “hobbyist” piece and you like it, do you put it back because it won’t sell? I’m asking because I know two people who opened a store and they sell the items they make. They consider themselves “hobbyists”. Just curious.

Most hand painted ceramics (“hobbyest pieces”) aren’t very sellable, but I have found some that are! The big ceramics Christmas trees for example. I find a couple things in the bins (Saturday’s video) that I buy, and they are hobbyist. If they have a store, I imagine they are a step up from “hobbyist.” But I don’t know. 😊
