Recently subbed, don’t regret it at all, learned a lot about phasmo, I recently started played on console, PS5 actually, my latest video was watching you play on console, couldn’t stop laughing at you asking if the ghost was “Square”, “Triangle” or “Circle”, when you were meant to press the corresponding button to ask the ghost a question, but regardless keep up the good work, I love the content.

I like the idea of a Krampus infested house, just wish that was clearly explained in game that was happening. Maybe if the decorations were more Krampus themed, like instead of a wreathe with a nice red bow it was a wreathe with bones. Or maybe a dead Christmas tree with bone or "twisted" ornaments. Something more Krampus flavored instead of being decorated by (as Insym says) "someone who doesn't know how Christmas works" 😆. Just some odd choices here.

Krampus isn't necessarily supposed to be evil, he's like Santa, he gives presents to the nice kids but instead of giving coal to those on the naughty list he whips them and throws them in his bag to eat them later.

I think they should add a rare chance of a krampus box spawning in the map after the event but instead of just being a jack in the box they shoot out random items like extra smudges or sanity pills. Like blood moon is a rare chance to make the game a bit harder and the boxes are a rare chance to make the game a bit easier. Plus It would be hilarious to get a bunch of pills out of a sus box you found in a haunted house and just eat them.

I had these ideas for more cursed weather events: - Cursed Fog - possibly interacting with the Hallucination system we hope to see in Horror 2.0 - Deathly Blizzard - Ambient temperatures start very low, with breaker on, rooms heat up slowly, makes finding the room difficult. Considered reduced player speed, but that would be anti-fun. - Eldritch Lightning - Cursed storm, rare hefty lightning strike shorts out the breaker (this could be annoying, but think it would be thematic) - Earthquake - Occasional tremors knock over items.

It's so low effort. No big updates, seasonal updates are incredibly low quality. No personal rewards, no incentive to actually participate in the event. Even small updates are so incompetently done (like the bugged looping spot in right wing of Sunny Meadows - they removed the bug by removing the spot completely, instead of just making it a normal looping spot). They even messed up with the most obvious thing - if there is one ghost model only, how is obake supposed to be recognizable? Honestly feels like the game is mostly abandoned content-wise. Push it to other platforms to get more money and that's that. They got the bag and this isn't ever leaving "early access".

@@オレンジと殺人鬼 I think the console release just took a lot of their manpower for a long while, more than they expected. It's not a huge team y'know, they're human too and can overstep and make mistakes. I think after this event they'll be able to pick everything up and release content a bit more regularly again.

In Sweden we have like an advent calendar a new episode everyday until Christmas and it’s usually a story progressing though out the weeks, we also get a tiny gift everyday until Christmas but usually it’s a calendar with Christmas theme and a tiny peice och chocolate everyday. We also celebrate Christmas on the 24th. We have a lot of lore about Christmas and folklore but I don’t remember it all however Christmas here is so cozy and old school and I love it😂 Great video as always thank u❤️

This was so interesting listening to your tradition! My dad is Sylvanian & we always left our shoes out on December 5th. We would get one gift (didn’t have to be small or inside our shoes, sometimes it was set next to the shoes) and my parents said it was from “Saint Nick” instead of Cinder Claus or Santa Claus. Then we would have our Christmas Day with Santa Claus on December 25th. The tradition must of been lost in translation over generations or altered once we came to America!

They could have incorporated a blood moon-like event with Krampusnacht, the night Krampus comes. They also could have had letters to “Satan” because some kid misspelled Santa, and that could serve a similar purpose to the bone.

This event is cool and all, new ID card is fun, the festive theme is nice and the jingle stomps are terrifying to be chased with... But my one grievance, one that was shared with the blood moon event, is that the "altar" in this case the tree, makes constant sound after interacting with it, and not just like a little jingle or twinkling effect, a constant rustling and scratching sound, which is pretty annoying especially if you're in the lobby for any length of time for whatever reason, would be great if it just didn't do that, or at the very least the next events altar thing just didn't make any noise, or if it has to make a sound, make something subtle and not annoying lol.

i been playing on point hope a lot for the event and i find that the best way to preserve ur sanity somewhat is to jus turn on the left-most light switch on every floor. like if the ghost is at the very top of the map u can keep the left light switches on and also the lights in the passageways outside of the bathroom and bedrooms. the left-most light switches are the ones closest to the stairs and so they make traversal easier and also keep ur sanity from draining at the maximum rate. ull have to like leave the lights off in the entryway and maybe on one or two floors but thats fine.

I do like Krampus that idea is fine, but i totally agree the lack of decor felt like lazy developing. Christmas trees on fire, decor damaged by Krampus would be cooler.

Hear me out: 1. Make the special ghosts from events a possible permanent unlock for the community 2. Let special ghosts ONLY spawn on their respective event weather e.g. christmas ghosts could only spawn when it's snowy weather etc. 3. Regulate their actual spawning chance: - The bloodmoon has a 2% spawn chance. Say we want the ghosts to be around the same chance, well: We got 8 different weathers, so the chance to even get e.g. the snowy map is only 12.5% (1/8). So out of 100 games we will get the snowy map 12-13 times on average. Now if we want a special ghost in around 2 of these, we need around 16,67%(rounded) of a chance per snowy map round to get to that. 3.5 Multiple special even ghosts on the SAME weather type. I'd keep the odds themselves for a special ghost to pop up the same here, however share the spawn chance of a special ghost spawning with how many ghosts it could be. E.g.: We have 3 different christmas ghosts, so take the 16.67% and divide it by three = 5.56% chance for each of the three.

My birthday is Dec 5th, and as I kid it worked out well. Close enough that if I wanted something big, I could use the 'You can combine birthday and Christmas', but far enough away that if I didn't want anything big, I got a lot of middle sized and smaller items.

Merry Xmas!!! Random comment I just want to say I feel like an idiot for not reading tier 3 salt. It's pretty op. Not only does it slow down a ghost during a hunt. It will also lock a ghost in a room, and it will interact more in that room. It really stops roaming ghost. So, you can get like freezing temps, spirt box, etc. faster. We manage to test this out with a phantom. It couldn't go outside its room for a while. I just kept putting the salt in the doorway after every hunt. Now I only tested this on one ghost. I also don't know how long it will trap the ghost in its favorite room. but a soon as I stopped placing that salt after a hunt it would hunt right on top of me.

I think a cool change would've been to change how temp worked, making temperature 5 or so degrees lower (Celsius). This could've made the ghost room negative and made it a little harder to determine freezing temps. Would've also made the hantu a bit more interesting aswell.

Imagine they added a christmas tree with a nutcracker on it and every 5 minutes the eyes would glow red, green or white. Red would make a 50% chance of a cursed hunt happening, Green would up everyones sanity or stop a hunt if there was one currently happening, and white would just do nothing. And if people don't like the effect they can just disable the nutcracker. Or maybe make 3 nutcrackers across the map and they have the same color eyes and taking whichever color eye nutcracker to a tree set up on the map can have either of the effects I just mentioned based on the eye color of the nutcracker. then the reward would be 3 nutcracker trophys. Btw by a nutcracker spawning I mean like one nutctacker can spawn in kinda like a cursed item but it would spawn with one of the colored eyes. So either red, green or neutral.

Sometimes I feel like the devs may just be burnt out from cosntantly working on Phasmophobia. Or maybe they just didn't have the time to fully work on this update due to the console ports coming out. But regardless of that, whichever of these two issues are going on behind the scenes, I think they still did a fine job with this event. The house being darker due to lighting and the footsteps being louder due to Krampis has hoenstly made the game more fun for me. I'm somebody who enjoys being scared, so the event has made the game more fun for me. If people are going to complain you always have to think about what may be going on behind the scenes as to why this or that felt worse than the last event, and saying the devs are lazy isn't a fair excuse. If you don't enjoy the event, don't play and take a break for a bit

Krampus isn't necessarily a christmas hater. He's supposed to be like Santa's counterpart and punish those children who have been naughty by means of torture, eating them etc. I believe the traditional lore is that he'd go into towns, take the child and put them in a basket and lower them down to the underworld.

Hey insym, On the new update my brother and I done a thing that no body can top. Lavender was watching us crack the ghost without ever leaving the truck doing zero evidence apart from requested photos for Xp on console I went from new player to level 51 in less than a hour, full Investigations completed perfectly in less than 9 seconds flat. And nailed the ghost for the first time every time. Achieved on Xbox series X. Done on apoc 3 on every run playing legit the achievements I gained in a single run mind blowing lol, we called it blind investigations the Devs where watching us defy logic and where stunned. My brother now suffers the wrath of the dev troll tools walks in the door now insta dead just playing never ever speed run phasmo it confuses the Dev lol.

Yeah, it's a pretty bland special event. I just recently started playing in November. The blood moon was cool. This just feels lazy to me. There's so much that could be done. I don't feel like any love was put into this event.

Please CJ dont add the ghost models to the game permabently. I feel they are special for a certain time of the year and it would be weird to have Santa in july or something... For the same reason i dont want obake ghosts to be able to shift into those. It is more obvious and destroys the atmosphere of the game. The devs should concentrate on big updates, More content (like New or better maps for example) and bug fixes. How about a New house map or a prison map rework?
