Dear Simon, I first stumbled across your videos as a high schooler. I'm from America, but found the amount of history laying in the Thames absolutely amazing. Among all the artifacts, the myriad clay pipes you'd find captivated me the most. Fast forward to now. I'm now an archaeology student in college who's about to publish his first ever academic paper: on clay pipes! I've also been asked to do independent research into them at my university next semester. If it wasn't for your videos I likely never would have became interested in these artifacts if it wasn't for your videos. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your finds with the world, they've had a big influence on me!

For me, it would have to be one of the more recent videos and that's the head of the Queen (bust), because it was so unexpected. You'd think because so many mudluckers that could've found it because of it's size and you were the one to get it, was amazing. Thanks again for the video Simon and crew.

Several favorites so very hard to choose…the Dutch tobacco tin, the Roman pot, the 16th C. You need to build a sifter, basically a screen with larger holes in a frame with legs to hold it off the ground. Dump in the dirt, give it a shake and see what's left 😉 That round stro-si corset marked disk appears to be part of the container that the extra steel "boning" or supports for the corset came in. #shared

That watery little bottle at 6:37 could have been "Bayer Aspirin" the bottle shape looks so familiar. OMG! That Mrs Winslow's syrup stayed on the market until the 1930's! 😳 Before Food & Drug Administration).

Great location. Hope Sean had suncream on his bare chest. Lol. Lamp looks fab. Got one of Wendy's pipe necklaces which I love.

Found it, Modern shampoo as it is known today was first introduced in the 1930s with Drene, the first shampoo using synthetic surfactants instead of soap.. Hope this helps

What a wonderful field!! I hope you go back 😊 The cws round plastic thing would of been a advertising mirror-hence why there was a fragment of glass at the back. Brill salt pot 👌🏼

Could that have been an appedix.. or tonsils. I'm sure they were given as souvenirs back at one point.
