I don't know about OK. But here in South Carolina you can put a stand on your property line but it has to be positioned looking out over your land not your neighbors. And they are really strict about it. Sean check all the bolts and braces on that tripod. My nephew was hunting one time and climbed up into an old stand that was about 25 ft high and it broke and he fell and is now a quadraplegic. Cant be too safe with those girls or yourself.

Plant a big turnip patch and fall pears and cow peas. If you can put them in seperate area it helps keep them moving, or some of each in multiple areas. Helps keep them in a more local area also.

Good Morning, I was feeling a bit under the weather this morning so I didnt go to church and I thought I would take the this time to get on my computer and let you know how much I enjoy watching your videos. I only wish I had the land that you have especially the creek property and I did subcribe to Daniels channel too, I think its daniels. I did purchase me a bag of the throw and go you showed in one video. I sit here every night and watch your videos, I just dont comment much cause I watch them on my big screen tv and I havent figured out how to comment on there. I would like to give you a big thumbs up on the work you do for the kids, I use to deer hunt a lot but I have quit cause of a bad experience I had one time. I have a lifetime sportsman because I am a disabled veteran. Keep up the good work and please keep me and my loss in your prayers.

You want to remember to be around 10 yards or so and up where branches can break up your silhouette from ridges or lower lying property around your stand the best you can while providing best shooting lanes without obstruction. Just saying. Hard to do with so wide open your area is.

Get yourself a drone. You will be able to do daily surveillance right from the house. Not only see what's happening but maybe even get photos of persons, vehicles, 4-wheelers, or whatever. They have cheaper ones with cameras that are easy to fly until you get the hang of it. I know that daughter of yours could figure out how fly that drone.

If that deer stand had been there 40-50 yrs wouldnt it have had the tree grow around the frame that was against the tree?
@mwatkins2464
@mwatkins2464 Жыл бұрын
It’s probably not even 10 years old definitely not from the 70s like he said. Yes the tree would have grown around it but back then we didn’t have these stands. Most were made of wood back then. This one would have been rusted into if it’s that old.

Sean, put a camera up high looking down at the swimmin' hole. That tripod sure is a nice find. I can't even imagine how nice it would be to have a father like you. I'd replace that old boat seat on the tripod. I've used them in jon boats, for years. They need to be changed out, ever 3 or 4 years, because they get brittle. You don't one of the kids or yourself to lean back a little and the seat breaks, You'd do a backflip, with little chance of stopping it.

Dutch, squirrel hunting would be great for the girls. It most definitely would improve their shooting, and spotting skills. Also, it's a great way to find signs of deer movement. Your tripod stand would most definitely be a perfect canidate for hunting over that scrape. Throw a mineral block around the scrape, and clear a shooting lane to the scrape. Looks like you have a lot of deer on camera by that scrape. Good luck on hunting, and hope you get some meat for the freezer. Hunting deer is always good content, and looks like you have a great population of deer moving around your property. Be safe, and God bless!
