It’s rare to encounter something so unapologetically raw and rooted, such as this film, that shakes us from the monotony of our day-to-day and forces us to reflect. This film stands tall, unyielding in a world that often sways to the slightest pressures - a powerful testament to resilience and perspective on a topic that is swallowed up in political agendas. It also shines a light on the disconnection created by our modern politics, where greed and false environmentalism distort the delicate balance between humanity and wildlife biology. Instead of fostering harmony, policies often favor shallow optics over meaningful conservation, leaving both man and nature to suffer the consequences. Keep making content. It's awesome. Great work.

Excellent job, fellas, truly professional. I started guiding in Idaho 1973. On rare occasion would find timber wolves. I sat on the board of IOGA during the proposal to bring wolves into Idaho. In 1994 I purchased the Outfitting business that I had guided for and sold it in 2022. I witnessed the introduction of the Canadian Grays and the impact it had on the ruminate population. and what was once one of the greatest hunting states. I regret that as citizens of this great hunting state we were not able to prevail in our opposition to the introduction of a non- native species.

On the heels of the last 8 years in our twisted society, fraught with the inversion of truth and perversion of souls, this film strikes a deep cord. Every so often we are shaken from what we collectively allow to become quotidian. The catalyst begins inside us and is bolstered by those willing to be persecuted. In a world of willows bending with the slightest breeze this film is an oak tree. I felt I would soon succumb to starvation picking the connective tissue from the bones of reposted re-runs. However in this moment I find my satiation knows no bounds. Thank you once again for your perspective and your intentionally abrasive and suffocating authenticity. Happy hunting and God bless 🙏

I feel this. This past 8 years has been insane. I can remember going to the airport at the height of the lockdowns. I walked into the SLC airport without a mask. I was angry. I walked by hundreds and hundreds of people. I only came in contact with one other person not wearing a mask--we locked eyes, nodded to one-another and kept moving. In that moment, I felt so alone. Why were so many people afraid to stand up against the insanity? Those masks were a charade. I didn't know what would happen. The law enforcement personnel saw me and one of them saluted me--they knew it was nonsense too and were glad to see someone not going along with it. The stewardess at the gate would not let me board without the mask on my face. We argued for a moment. I put the mask on. Walked 10 feet past the gate and took it off. Never wore it the rest of the flight. I did that 4 more times at the airport during the mandate period. Lampers and I never wore masks during that period--it was our act of defiance against the tyranny. We were persecuted--denied entry and denied travel. But I'd rather die free than live on bended knee. So... in this context, your comment means a lot to me--more than you can know. And this film, as minor as it may be, is another small act of defiance in the face of inverted truths. So thank you. Sincerely.

@@GrittyFilmProductionsI wouldn’t be surprised if it was me nodding back at the airport. I was traveling a lot for work at that time and I live in Salt Lake. I was shocked like you at how eager people were to comply and judge those who wouldn’t. I had checkers at my local Smiths foods that refused to check me out. I just started open carrying my 1911 and people seemed less enthusiastic about virtue signaling. I’ve been that crazy guy for 20 years now. Watching their eyes roll back every time I would bring something up. All while watching my friend group dwindle to single digits. I am fine with everyone having their own opinion. It’s the pure arrogance that sticks in my craw. People that haven’t spent a cumulative month in the wilds purporting their expertise. Cowards unwilling to get bloody. They farm it out while smugly looking down their noses. WE ARE NOT THE SAME. The sad truth is that we are culpable in this chaos. We collectively tried to be diplomatic. No more. My dialogue is no longer filtered. If they are not offended I am doing it wrong. I think I read in some book somewhere persecution is a prerequisite… Thanks for the reply and again for your work. There's so much respect for every species I hunt and don't hunt, and I have that respect to keep wolves around as long as we can keep the ecosystem to a ballance that can not happen if wolves are free to roam, kill, populate uncontrollably with other big game that are controlled. Again, what an amazing film, one of the best so far. Great work gentleman.

I live in the northwest corner of Montana in an area that once boasted the best Shiras moose hunting in the west. Wolves came in and have had an outsized impact on all of the ungulate populations, but hit the moose especially hard. As a prey species that hasn’t been hunted by a pack animal in over 100 years and that pack animal enjoying regulatory protection until relatively recently, the wolves had an easy path to proliferate and prosper on our landscape. Since we have been allowed to hunt and trap them, all of the ungulate populations have started to recover, and we have another wonderful game species to pursue. They are still a sore subject for many, but I love seeing them on the landscape, especially when I’ve got a tag and a rifle in hand.

This film is nothing short of outstanding and by far one of our favorite GF. Hopefully this will open people’s eyes to the truth and the need for management of these predators. There were a lot of “wows” in the house while watching it and chills all around. Thank you for bringing us along for this phenomenal hunt and please keep doing what you do!!

Cool film, I doubt that video & live audio does justice to what they actually sound like in the wild. Wishing I could have been there with you.
