So, today we went to find out about my treatment plan which is all in place but we found out some interesting things that my original team didn't even pick up on, along with the fact they knew about the nodes in my neck and that the margins aren't clear on any of my surgeries so far.
I also had to have a bone scan as they fear I may have an osteosarcoma in my left leg.

PeeWeeToms im glad you are ontop of the doctors in giving you all the information I know how stressful that is. What im worried about is your body is receiving all this radiation from scans ect.. and that in itself can cause mutations and spreading of the cancer. You should look into taking supplemental iodine to protect your cells from destruction and mutation of the radiation

Your mom is the strongest woman I’ve ever seen on KZbin. I cannot even imagine what she goes through every day. To have such humour and grace still in the horrific position she is in, is beautiful. Unfortunately my grandma was in her position 3 times. I am so sorry for all of this terrifying news for you. You're mom is an absolute doll! My mom is, shall we say, a little technically challenged as well. On my Facebook posts, she always comments and signs love mom. So cute. And often will totally disregard the topic of my post and tell me to call her, lol. I don't know if it's the pain meds, but you are so engaging, so thoughtful, so vulnerable, and so giving in your videos. All I can think of saying, for as cheesy as it sounds, but the pressure has revealed quite the diamond. You have my full support and all my love. I know someone who had a very very rare type of cancer (I think there were five people with it in up the UK at the time) and the Marsden were incredible for her so I'm very pleased to hear they're now going to be working with you! Different type of cancer so I know it isn't the same, but they seem to take the extra mile when dealing with unusual/less known varieties. I hope th ball gets rolling soon Daniel! genuine support

Hi Dan. Came across your posts a few days ago and my heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I know from experience that the NHS can work wonders even when initial diagnoses seem bleak. My dad is walking proof of that. Just over a year ago he had a massive cardiac arrest at home and we were told that only 10% of people survive and those who do have severe disabilities due to the brain being starved of oxygen for so long. At times it was touch and go. The road to recovery was long and stressful, but we got through it as a family and now my dad is fitter than me. Our GP calls him the miracle man! Never lose hope even in the darkest hours because nobody knows what the next day will bring. When my mum was ready to give up hoping I wouldn’t let her and we got through weeks of uncertainty living one day at a time. Then out of the blue dad came out of his coma and recognised us instantly even though we were warned he may have suffered severe memory loss. Although hard at times, I’m sure keeping a positive attitude is key to winning the war even if you take a beating in some of the battles. Can I also praise you on your bravery in sharing your experiences and to let you know you are making a difference in awareness about this. In fact this is the main reason I’m contacting you. My 17 year old son has been suffering with severe pain in his right knee for some time for no apparent reason. He’s still undergoing tests, but after reading about your condition I found symptoms of osteosarcoma and because of similarities in symptoms and my sons age we made a doctors appointment and he was referred for an immediate X-ray to scan for this. Thankfully his X-ray came back clear, but the awareness you are raising about your illness might help someone else get an early diagnosis. Our GP was surprised that I knew about the condition because of it being a rare form of cancer. I’m keeping everything crossed for you and hope you get some positive news soon. Keep your spirits up mate and remember the most testing of times makes us and our family bonds stronger than ever once we’ve recovered. You’ll get there eventually. In the meantime take care of yourself.
