Oh poor Aife, I am a carsick adult and can relate to her so hard. Can confirm that sleeping in a car also helps in a way - at least from personal experience, I feel less sick afterwards if I get even a little nap at the start of the trip. Fingers crossed she outgrows it in no time!

When you find your dog you don't know whether to be angry or cry with joy because they worry you so much! I have a cocker spaniel who loves rabbits so know exactly how you feel! Lovely video Athena, you've inspired me to attempt a solo walk with my baby and dog, things may have gone wrong but at least you gave it a go, you knew when it was time to turn back and that's the most important thing! We lived in a teeny space when my kids were small. We'd found wicker laundry baskets that fit under end tables, to put loose toys in. It looked fairly tidy, and was accessible to them for playing, and putting away.

Our little dog would run off after a scent and we would leave an item of our clothes at the spot she would always return to the spot and we would find her curled up asleep waiting for us.. thankyou for your beautiful vlogs x

Everything is just that much harder with little ones, super impressed with what you do anyway so well done for getting out and trying plus one of my Dachshunds disappeared into the woods the other day, completely gone for 10 mins following a scent, kept the panic down but not a nice feeling, glad Oslo was super sensible. If you have to leave your starter for a bit, refrigerate it. Mine lives there and gets fed every other week. It has gone a week or so longer and did fine.

So glad Oslo is okay. Fully understand how stressful it was for you with a baby in that weather and Oslo running after a scent. We have 2 Beagles, a similar thing happened to us a few years ago in Scotland, just so relived when they returned. Dogs generally return to the same spot but it’s a natural reaction to go and try to find them, if you do, leaving something with your scent on at the spot is helpful. Thanks for another enjoyable vlog.

Loved the longer video and dogs have a habit of knowing just when to miss behave! It took years to get on top of my boys ,blink and he would be off situation! And just when you think you have it in the bag...Gone! In a flash however those years are well behind him now as he uses a wheel chair now,he is 13.5 which is exceptional for a Dalmatian,little monkeys but we wouldn't be without them. Having Aífe strapped to your back would have been so stressful in not knowing what to do first. I can imagine she is very heavy now,she is a beautiful little lady, have you tried those travel bands when she is in the car for the sickness,or attach one to her chair it may help. HI Athena, I Loooove to follow your videos and how the content have evolved in line with your life changes. If you know you won't be able to feed the starter, you can freeze it. I know it sounds crazy, but it works! You then thaw it and feed it for 3 days in a row and it should be fine.
