We stumbled across Southern Thailand's Best street food night market here in Nakhon Si Thammarat!
This night market happens on Sundays every 2 weeks and we happened to be there on that day and accidentally found it! It's like it was ment to be.
I honestly doubt there is a better Street food night market in Thailand this place was incredible there were so many unique street foods being sold.
We found out it was a Mon/burmese style market and the local Thai people were some of the friendliest we've met in Thailand. Everybody we came across was so smiley and just wanted a chat.
We ate so much street food and the prices were all so reasonable.
This is a proper night market forget the touristy ones travel to smaller provinces and this is the reward 🇹🇭

welcome to my home nakhon si thammarat and May you enjoy your travels in this province. I have a little funny to tell you. In this video at 35:55, the dessert you eat is called "hua klock chap namtan". in local language. it mean sugar coated cashew nut .You must eat the seeds, not the leaves.😆😆Sorry if my English is wrong, I use google to translate

Hi guys, what a find today, right? I'm with Alicia that it's a bit overwhelming, but in a good way. Free tip: when the vendors offer their products for you to try (Shim dai), especially temperature hot food fresh off the pan, be sure to blow on it for a few second before eating, to prevent burning your mouth. . We need to tell Gary to seek out this place, he will freak out, in a good way, for sure, with all the new find food. 😁

Happy Easter Ellis and Alicia and thank you again for a very special video. I have to go and visit that market, it looks right up my street. I've been googling away all morning but can't find any mention of it, I'm even looking for the street art on google maps 😃- you really did strike lucky! Is there anything more you can share to help me locate it? I have a few pins in my NST map already as planning to go there after Songkhla and before Khanom (my travel plan is looking so similar to yours, but in reverse and with a few more train journeys). As ever, very appreciative of the effort that goes into making original content - big thank you and have a very Happy Easter 🥚

Hey G! Stay tuned for our Sichon & Khanom videos soon also, this was our favourite region maybe. I just found it it's in thai - หลาดท่ามอญ I've no idea what day its on we heard every 2 weeks on Sunday but you'd have to ask a hotel! We got so lucky We love the train journeys embrace them aha the scenery is stunning Happy easter to you too we appreciate you watching always 🙏

In Thailand we have three kind of food shops, street food, restaurants and local food vender shop. The KZbinr usually recommends only street foods or restaurants but no one recommended local food venders shop. Only Thai KZbinr like “Foodie Girl” or “Cony cry”. If you try local vender shops(sorry I don’t know what they call) it’s very delicious lease try.
