That’s actually built much better then those no name excavators at the auctions. No hoses exposed for drive motors and an actual cab and screen. And liu gong is an actual equipment manufacturer

As an equipment mechanic for twenty years I can say I agree. The thickness of metal and quality of these machines is unmatched for the price. Strong fast hydraulics and thick strong materials on every inch of these machines. If I was looking for a machine of this size this would be the machine I would buy.

That hook is lift mode. It allows you to lift heavy things better

It might even lock the wheels & send all power to the arm too basically turning it into a mini crane, there's probably a hook attachment available which might explain the symbol so you can use straps around whatever you need to lift

Here in Canada the luigong forklifts are not bad either the only major issue is getting parts from the manufacturer and making any kind manufacturing warranty

Liugong is a top 10 equipment manufacturer in the world. They are the number manufacturer of wheeled loaders in the world. They have a North America headquarters and parts warehouse in Katy Texas. I own the next model larger the 9027F a 2.7 ton excavator and paid a 1/3 the price of an equivalent CAT. It has the same Yanmar diesel in it that my John Deere tractor has. Excellent excavator with many extra upgraded features as standard. Up until recently Liugong had a partnership with CAT. Most of the excavators under 10 ton are made overseas including John Deere and CAT. These are legitimate excavators made by a legitimate manufacturer. We almost bought a brand new 12000lb Liugong recently but backed out because our local dealer wouldn't commit or confirm that they would keep parts in stock or work on it when need be. We ended up getting a Kubota 040 instead and are happy with the decision. The Liugong was a very nice machine and they may be top ten world-wide but they have a long way to go before many American markets will take them seriously - regardless of familiar parts inside

these things are actually really good machines i need one really bad kinda waiting for the right deal to come along the only real issue with these is on some models the hydraulics are super sensitive and probably too fast and on the super cheap gas models they are a bit light on the counter weight
