That machine is a screed machine for bridge decks. The concrete is belted into the machine by conveyor as it moves forward. It's wide enough to do both lanes in one direction across a bridge

No bridge paver don't run on tracks, they have boogies that run on a pipe(rail)

The machine that you were wondering what it was it's a slip form paved for concrete highways. We used to haul concrete in try axels dumpl trucks to the slip form paver for a lot of jobs on rout 80 interstate repaies.

Sharing A Defect Notice…..Just a heads up to Mike and anyone driving a 2019-2023 Chev or GMC 1500/2500 with a 5.3 or 6.2 gas, The manufacture has a recall on certain VIN numbers for a engine cooler line that will separate due cold temperatures causing a line separation pumping the oil out while running. If you happen to start your vehicle to warm it up and walk away, you could come back with all the oil on the ground and a engine locked up. I share this because it was the case for me but I was able to save the engine before all the oil was pumped out. The only way I could get the line was by calling my brother in-law in Canada who picked the line up at a local Chevy dealership. It took 14 days to get the line in my hands because the engine oil cooler lines are purposely on a national back order in U.S. You can buy the line in Canada but you can’t find it in U.S. See Global Safety Investigations DCS5833 Subsection N212326940 . Great field trip Mike.

I made another cup of instant coffee.... came back and saw that decal upside down and started laughing again..... i laughed so hard it hurt.... Spray the surface with warm soapy water that way you can move the sticker around before it sticks . used to put 8foot x 10foot decals on vans so done a few

When GPS satellites were first launched in the 1990's...I was flying in western bush Alaska they only had a couple of satellites in space. Because of the few satellites in space, we would get very sparse and internment satellite coverage. But every few months they were launching more satellites in space and it was getting better all the time. Today you can put in a latitude and longitude and you can go there...no problems at all.

Just make a half moon saddle with a bar going down to level the tire when pulling or install the tire's on Bubba Dump. Safety is best! :)

Looks like there is enough pieces in that salvage yard to build yourself another haul truck. You can call it Forrest Dump as long as you paint it green. It might be less of a struggle if you used a palette jack under those truck tires, or maybe even fabricate an "A" frame with forks to lift them with the overhead.

Try this: Spray the area with windex, put he sticker on and position where ever you want, and use a squeegee to set while holding it in place. Comes out "Dirt Perfect" every time. We did all our City decals like that for ever (I worked there 27 years).

I watched Kevin's impression of you Mike, it was like you were there. 😂🤣 Definitely my sort of yard, where I live in the UK we used to have 3 vehicle scrap yards all in a row. It's how I kept my 1st 3 cars on the road, saved me an absolute fortune, these days though you can't have a wonder round with your trusty spanner everything its all online.
