I think you did the same loop that I did. Water is so clear that you can literally see everything down there. It's all different world under there. Wow, you got the monkeys, so cool I'm jealous. Looks like monkey population is live and well! 👍

The monkeys were definitely the highlight for us but the water truly is gorgeous with how clear it is. I loved being able to see that whole underwater world!

That was really cool you guys seeing the monkeys! We went to Monkey Island and found out they were getting their Island remodeled.

It was SO fun seeing them. It was a little stressful in a boat fighting the current a bit and trying to stay a safe distance but close enough to get a good look. One jumped towards someone ahead of us and scared them pretty good. Someone told us they have been known to jump in boats!

Thanks, Jeff! It was quite a challenge getting photos and video while trying to maintain an optimal distance. It was so exciting to see the monkeys!

@@SteveAudra for the record, it was very clear that Steve had a great time on that trip. Perhaps credit can also go to the "captain" of the vessel for providing the necessary space for the photographer.

I'm thinking of taking my inflatable kayak to several FL springs in January. Would you recommend? I'm a little nervous about gators and puncturing the kayak.

In our opinion, it's totally fine for the most part. The only spring so far that concerned us at all was Ichetucknee because of the stronger current but even there I think you'd be okay if you are careful and pay attention to what's ahead. We don't think you have to worry about gators in the springs. People tube down some of the springs! I wouldn't take an inflatable kayak in the Everglades but no concern for us in the springs.
