Cyclists have evolved over the years to take two wheels to new and different landscapes. The humble bicycle has similarly mutated to adapt to whatever setting it finds itself in, to the point where two wheeled creatures are suited to all kinds of terrain, be it silky smooth road, loose gravel tracks, or steep mountainous descents, but just what happens when a rider and steed tackle territory they've not yet encountered? Let's watch and find out.

Watch Martyn Ashton, "Road Bike party" That Greville is way more capable. The question might be better asked as, "Do you think a gravel biker could do this?" What Blake does in this video is something that only a handful of bikers would be bold enough and skilled enough to pull off.

I put 27.5 wheels on my single speed trek Crockett to commute and slay trails. Recently put a fox ax shock to fit a little more rubber! The thing is a monster. Great average speed for commuting and absolutely tears through trails usually faster than I’m comfortable going hahahaha. Amazing replacement for the hard tail I was riding for years. Never had so much fun

Funny timing. I just smashed my PR’s on a local bike park’s black line by locking out my rear suspension. Hadn’t ridden there in a few years as I’ve been on my hardtail (son has had the trail bike) and it just felt “right” to lock it. Checked times later and not only PR’d it, but got my top 1, 2, and 3 times ever. YMMV

Sadly, their numbers have recently diminished. Combine that with the growing number of people hunting, capturing, and taming them, they have become a rare sight in the wild. Hopefully, with conservation efforts their numbers will return so more of us can enjoy them in their true environment.

More emotional range than i was expecting on a GCN video. Joy and wonder.

This was hilarious! Loved the spin on the nature show well done! Unbelievable cycling skills too. Not too many people answered your question of whether or not they thought a gravel bike could do this, but really I never would doubt the bike but the rider... And in this case, clearly the MTB'r nailed it, crushing the MTB course with the gravel bike.

You should do one of these for the ‘Humble Motorist’ and their relationship with the cyclist. 🚗 🚙 We need a massive piss take that we can link for the angry driver. 😊😁😁😁

I really enjoyed this video. Probably my favourite one of the year so far! Seeing Blake in lycra made me laugh out loud. Kudos to the narrator too as this added to my enjoyment.

LBS: sire, is this steed enough and suited for your need? MTBer: Hell yeah bruh!? imma take this to the hills! LBS: perhaps an enduro or trail would be more suited sire? MTBer: trust me bruh! this is enough! hahaha

These role playing comments used to be funny about 15 years ago. Now they are fucking boring as fuck.

The best storyline and cinema photography yet from GCN. There needs to be a GCN+ feature length documentary.
