That's sweet that you did that for those 2 guys. Been a fan for a long time and will stay one. As a high school fisherman who grew up working on boats myself and invest my time and money into tools and parts I can understand that there is a barrier to entry where there shouldn't be. That was awesome that you did that for them. They already have a nicer boat than I have ever had... and probably will ever have. That being said, I have one small 1436 that is in the works to become something amazing for my needs/wants. PLUS... it fits into the garage with loads of space to spare. I am getting older now and already got a few Millenium Marine B100 seats for it. Upgrade #1 for me besides getting that trailer on order for it. 😆 I shall be shrimping, crabbing, salt flats-stalking, cypress knee bumping, and adventure camping from it in no time with my son. She is my first boat. Going to make it the one I keep until the end since it is so light and easy for me to be able to "man handle" into my late years. (I am just 42 right now).
