An inexcusable thing that Classic Collection did especially was lie about the Battlefront 2 Xbox dlc. Fun fact, it's actually not! The maps look different from their original releases, and like noticeably different. Rhen Var Citadel is literally the Battlefront 1 version with different lighting and a new skybox to trick you into thinking it's the xbox DLC version. They straight up added the wrong map and passed it off as the original.

Yeah, I think they also stole a mod for Geonosis, at least on switch, because it looks totally different, and I remember seeing a mod for the original pc version that fixed the maps colour tint to how it was on console. I can't confirm this but I know that it might be a stolen mod.

It is a pity that the reports on this game being a complete ‘disaster’ were true. The Classic Collection in the modern-day world sounded like a bloody brilliant concept on paper, but failed dismally in execution. I hope these issues get sorted out soon; players have the right to voice their vehement displeasure. Mister Nostalgic, I know that you streamed this game last night. However, due to my busy, conflicting and demanding work schedule here at hospital, I could not watch live. Do not fret, my friend; I will get around to watching the stream later on this evening. This thing has been nothing but a tragedy. I was so hyped for this after the Nintendo Partner showcase that I got a Switch & PC copy for some great fun on March 14th. Then review day hit aka 3/13 and I was so excited to see what people thought only to learn of everything that Aspyr messed up! I was so mad that I refunded the PC Version (Sadly couldn’t on Switch) of CC immediately that day. Then later after seeing more reviews I decided for fun to Mod my OG BF2 Steam game for the first time and make my own CC of BF2 05, And I can say it was a fantastic experience that I’ll never regret! The excitement of grabbing sick mods like BF2 Remastered by Anakin and the Xbox DLC by iamaShaymin, Heck I even got to fix Ki adi Mundi’s voice and hear Cory B’s performance of him in the actual game! 👀 And best part? It’s only 10 GB in size on my PC 😎 TLDR: Grab BF2 05 and Mod it. You’ll get the best SWBF2 Experience you can’t beat!

Nostalgia is valid here. It was Star Wars for PSP. All you had to ask when talking about Star Wars gaming was “one or two?” This game isn’t a fail. Controls could use an option or two and… yeah the obvious online aspect. But we have it now. It’s here, now it’s about feedback they can use. They could get failed into oblivion but then how do we know which developer is actually going to listen? I want Final Fantasy Tactics on Switch, kinda one of those things.

I refunded the game and downloaded the 2005 version got the patch and some maps installed and it runs better than the collection version and the PC menu I am used to is better than the XBox version.

The multiplayer being so messed up is really disappointing. I had a feeling it would have a rough start, but not like this lol. I never had the chance to play online on either of these games as a kid and was really excited to be able to participate in the multiplayer with the revived player base. I'm glad things are getting ironed out with the multiplayer as time goes on though. In the meantime, I've been trying to get all the achievements to pass the time which has been a lot of fun.

3:05, That's a reach. I've seen coms spin around in place like ballerina's on 2005's 1.2 PC release. Those coms are dumber than dirt, and there is literally nothing they could've done to break it further. It's even worse if you're not playing on hard.

wow if only the game wasnt pure ass. 3 servers holding a total of 200 players. multiplayer broken the whole time. and because low servers everyone tries to bum rush in. conquest is unplayable. singleplayer missing half the movies/cutscenes.

Its the exact same as on the new version. Me and my friend played both 1 and 2 between 4 and 9 pm uk tine yesterday. Not a singke issue. Plays exactly the same

im right there with you but there are genuinely issues with the game...its not the one we remember cause the AI doesnt work and the audio is really messed up...people are calling it a scam because you can buy the originals for about 8 bucks together, and you can mod the visuals to look nicer, so we should have got a product better than that for 4x the price. once they fix it though im cool. im not putting in my refund for now though cause im still getting enjoyment.

@TheBeefMonger I'm not a pc gamer, and never will be, I played ps2 versions, and the ai is about the same as this. And the sound glitches were in fact in the ps2 version of the games as well, and the classic collection ai upscaled textures are much nicer then the ps2 version, so I must disagree with what you've said just now myself
