We Got a Mini Copter… Then THIS Happened 😱

In this episode of our Rust adventure, we make a big move by securing ourselves another helicopter, this time the trusty mini copter a cheaper and more versatile option. With excitement in the air (literally), we take off and start heading back to our base.
Everything seems to be going smoothly until disaster strikes. While attempting a sharp turn, things take a turn for the worse literally. We lose control and plummet straight into the ground, leaving us to pick up the pieces from this unfortunate mishap.

I suggest saving up and buying Attack Heli , its bit expensive but more Heavy more powerful and way way easier to fly.

Yes, you should really make some experience fllying in a training server, I suggest Koalacopters. Some people can fly inverted (upside down) and do crazy aerobatics, but they have hundreds of hours of fly experience, just to perform a regular flight and even more difficult to land without crashing is not so easy and it is better to do it where the eli comes for free then waste scraps and time on a not dedicated server. On the training servers you crash and in few seconds you respawn andd have a brand new copter to try again. A very important hint when you die, respawn and you want to retrive what you had is to put a marker on the map marking the point where your previous incarnation died. DON'Y RELY ON THE RED MARKER that shows the last place where you died as if in the trip to you body you get killed by an animal or in a pvp server by an other player it will disappear and a new one will show. It has happened to me at least a couple of times so now as I respawn the first thing I do is to put a marker that will be permanent until I delete it. Back to the eli with the arrows you turn it and with the mouse you tilt it forward, back or sideways. This crash happened because you tilted the eli to the left and it begun to slide to the left, look at min. 4:30 in the video, notice how the horizon changes, few seconds later you tilted it even more and then you had completely lost control. When you fly an elicopter in Rust the horizon is your best friend, if is too high you are tilted bacwards so you are "going in reverse", if is low you are tilted forward and you are going forward, if the horizon is tilted you are sliding towards the side where the horizon is higher, you can use the last manoeuver to slide laterally, may be to land on with precision on a certain spot, but tilting only few degrees and during the fly the horizon should be always horizontal. I hope it helps, I also am trying to learn to fly the eli and on the training server I am now able to land on the top of the Dome and on the eli platforms of the oil rigs but still I crash too often to buy one on a regular server.

The idea of practicing on a helicopter practice server is actually really smart I’ll definitely give that a shot to improve my flying skills (and avoid more disastrous crashes like this one 😂). Marking my death spot permanently is also a great suggestion. I hadn’t thought about doing that, but it makes total sense, especially for situations where I might not recover my stuff right away. I really appreciate the rundown on the helicopter controls too those little details make a big difference. Thanks again for watching and for the helpful advice keep it coming.

There are heli practice servers I would just search helicopter or heli and there’s a few of them where you get unlimited tries and can learn
