I think lawn mowing is a good job for Aaron. He seems to really like it. It is also a job that doesn't require heavy lifting and is easier for him with his bad back. I really have enjoyed Aaron joining in with you while filming your KZbin videos. I think he is really knowledgeable and very handy in putting things together. I wish he was my neighbor so he could help me tighten down my toilet seat. LOL

Hey you two amazing sweet souls,when I used to have an outside umbrella, I always used the bungee cord hooks on the umbrella to keep it from blowing up,you wrap it around the umbrella. Always pull your umbrella out of the stand and lay it in the deck if it is going to storm. I’ve tried every weight and nothing seems to keep them upright in a storm. Just safer to lay them down since they are so expensive 😉

Just a little helpful hint we when weren't using our umbrella we used a bungee cord to hold it together to keep the wind from sucking it up from underneath learned that from my dad it always worked never went anywhere

Yes, this is such a good tip. I use some 550 cord to tie mine when we aren't using it, for the very same reason. That sucker would take flight like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz if I didn't wrap something around it to tie together. 😅

Everything looks fine but it would look far better. If you painted that plywood on the side of your house that surrounds your air conditioner. Maybe on the side of the house paint it and get rust remover for the orange stains on the side exterior wall. A little work will go a very long way!! It will give your house a great big boost in its appearance!

Love the new mower!! To keep from doing extra work and to keep your beds cleaner make sure you mow with the chute away from your flowerbeds because it throws grass clippings in them. I learned the hard way lol. Nice to hear Aaron narrating for a while you mowed.

Kimi and Aaron, I'm glad y'all and yall's brand new umbrella and everything, and everyone survived the storm. We only lost one shingle off of our roof, and some tree branches fell, but other than that, we faired quite well. On Sunday, we put a new 9 ft. Round × 2 ft. Deep pool together for our granddaughters on our patio. We also brought our table, chairs, and umbrellas out of our building and placed them on our patio and our granddaughters' little picnic table also. My husband had to do some repair work on the big umbrella base, and he worked on it for about 40 minutes, and we were finally able to put the umbrella up. We also set another large umbrella up to give a little shade on part of the pool and a smaller umbrella in the center of our table. Luckily, the pool was about 1/3 of the way full of water when the storm started blowing in. (It had no damage other than filled with dirt, leaves, and debris.) My husband, daughter, granddaughters, grandson, his friend, and myself started running around like crazy people trying to grab things from flying away, lol! We would all run back into the house thinking we got everything and we see something else, so we all ran out again, lol! My grandson's basketball goal was about to crash on the pool, but luckily, we saw it rocking and laid it down. We watched our neighbor's umbrella lift straight up into the air and over their roof to their front yard. I think it went on down the street. We brought the rafts in, and I grabbed a little beach ball and laid it on the carpet in through the patio doors about 4 feet and when I opened the door to grab something else the ball was sucked out of the house passed me and that frightened me. We ran through the house to the front door to grab windchimes, flags, and our hammock. We almost forgot about the things out front. In 2012, we had a straight-line storm come through, and they called it a derecho. This storm reminded me of that. I love yall's electric mower! I want one now, lol! Ours is a gas self-propelled, and that thing is so heavy. I don't like it. I am going to show my husband what y'all bought. I love it! It looks like it really does a good job, too. I love that lawn mower. It is really nice not to have to worry about running over a cord like back in the day. We only have a long strip of lawn, a long patio and a long driveway all as long as our mobile home. I wish we had more lawn, but our gardener has to weed eat what we do have because we are older and can't do it anymore. It's all looking great you two!

Your electric mower works pretty good. I noticed when you were picking up debri in front of your old shed that you have Virginia Creeper growing close to the opening, be careful touching it because to some it is like poison ivvy. It never use to bother me but now I'm highly allergic to it. Just FYI. The both of you are doing a great job cleaning up your property. Also, I like the new patio furniture on the deck. 😊

im giving all the good wishes on the battery mower i bought a battery snow battery a couple year back shy of 500 and i gave it to someone in the middle of the season couldnt stand the blast thing got a toro and happy dance all winter just picked up a chain saw no more buying fire wood paying for itself in one season of wood thank goodness since wood is 150 a cord here

Kimi, are you closing your umbrella when you’re not using it? We always kept ours closed until we were actually outside and using the table or sitting outside. It helps from allowing the wind to get up under it and flipping it. Everything is looking good!! Blessings!!

Kimi, we have an electric mower and I love it! Just a tip, around your mulch and garden , I would use the bag. That way the grass won’t get in your mulch or garden. We put the grass clippings around our huge trees and they have never looked more beautiful!!! You will love your mower. Can’t wait til you get all your yard cleaned up. You and Aaron will really enjoy it then!
