With more drivers we've added another car to our team and with those drivers being newer we've decided on building it specifically for the ChampCar Endurance Series Limited Prep F-Class, which I believe to be one of the best classes for entry level racing.

Dude.. if you can't drive an NA (naturally aspirated) NA Miata (even with an engine swap) you prob shouldn't be doing this. NA/NB Miatas are so easy to drive safely that if you can't drive one you literally can't drive anything safely (other than maybe learning brake lockup, but braking feel in those cars with a decent pad is also fantastic). Being fast in them and maintaining momentum, different story, can be tough especially under racing conditions, but a slower car will only accentuate that further. I spent 2 seasons in a 1.8L Miata and I loved it. But I had to get out because it was teaching me bad habits by being so forgiving and having such low limits/consequences for imperfect driving.

Im not sure that I am understanding your comment regarding " naturally aspirated NA" .. i assume that it pertains to Roy talking about his "ecotec swappped" NA Miata. If that's what you're referring to , then you are misunderstanding Roy. The car is a "naturally aspirated General motors Ecotec swap" , not a Ford Turbo charged Ecoboost... And I assure you Roy knows his Miata and how to drive them. He's is probably one of the best drivers that I personally know. If I am misunderstanding you, then I apologize

@@AverageJoesracingteam I'm sure he can wheel his own car, but I'm commenting with regards to his comment about giving rental drivers a slower option, that the ecotec miata can be intimidating. if rental drivers are struggling with the Ecotec Miata they should go back and get more training in. Those chassis are the most forgiving cars in existence other than maybe an E30 and most ecotec swaps still make south of 200whp, and with NA power delivery that's still should be about as beginner friendly as race cars get
