I think a lot of people see dogs and think “cute fluffy I wanna cuddle!” Which is a great bonus to having a pet! But dogs are a huge responsibility and take a lot of time and effort and it’s really sad when I see a dog behaving a certain way and people just blame it on the breed or the dog itself when it’s 1000% the owners responsibility! And yes I’m SO happy they love each other 🥺💕

100% love that you take full responsibility of training your pups, me and my husband are very similar to you and dan. it is so necessary to understand your dog and it’s needs, many people don’t understand why I do certain things to train my pups, but it’s because it will better their life and make mine easier!

Thank you for the disclaimer at the end, I see so many people with aggressive dogs lately, it is so frustrating. Dogs take on after their owners and we have to remember that they are no bad dogs only bad owners...

My husband and I just got a Goldendoodle puppy in July. It was ROUGH the first week introducing him to our 3 year old dog but thank GOD it’s better. Lots of playing these days. ❤️ Good to know I’m going through the puppy phase again with someone!

I think you should go based off what feels best for you. We loved how our trainer was very much “for the dogs”. So like whatever is in the dogs best interest, not the human!

So adorable!!! Random question but what type of food do you guys feed the dogs? Their teeth are beautiful and have the shiniest coats!!

We feed a raw diet! 90% meat and 10% fruits and veggies. We also add specific natural powders to Finch’s food since he’s a growing puppy. And then some extra natural powders to Boo’s food for bone health, etc. We also give them raw marrow bones which help keep their teeth clean!

Breeders aren’t inherently bad, you should get a dog from an AKC registered breeder though that health tests the parents and has them registered too

@@MathildeG I completely agree! I also think that rescuing a dog is not the best option for everyone (especially for those who are new when it comes to raising dogs) as they can often have behavioural issues due to past trauma. I was simply wondering :)
