My, my, my, my... Ezran finally losing it makes sense, in all honesty. He learns his kingdom was devastated and likely there were casualties, so it makes sense he wants someone to hate or blame. Then along comes Runaan, and Ezran immediately condemns him for his father's murder. Throughout _The Dragon Prince,_ Ezran's been the purest heart and voice. The idea of him giving into his emotions like this will be something to behold, for better or worse

Oh man, this season will definitely be more complicated! It was wonderful to see Runaan return, but Ezran hates him for killing his father and has him arrested. King Harrow had confessed to doing terrible things and that he had to pay for them, but Runaan allowed hate to consume him so badly, he resorted to murder. What will happen from here? Will Runaan hopefully regret what he did and redeem himself like Viren did? Will Ezran and the others forgive Runaan? This is definitely going to create a rift between Rayla and Ezran and maybe cause her relationship with Callum to be strained again! God damn it! 😢

Runaan is really horrible if you think about it. People like Harrow, Amaya & Janai at least kill in battle. Runaan prefers to kill while his targets sleep.
@arielmejia1057Ай бұрын
@@TheMrPeteChannel But surely Runaan will redeem himself somehow? Viren did and I am certain he was much worse than Runaan.

I really want Runaan to do what Viren did: regret his hateful actions and redeem himself. I honestly hope he does not die though because he is not an evil character at all. He just made a terrible mistake, that's all.

I get the feeling Runaan still retains his hatred for the humans and that he does not regret what he did to King Harrow. If this is definitely the case, then I admit that Ezran definitely has every right to condemn and hate him. Besides Ezran having to learn not to let hate consume him more than it already has, Runaan has to let go of his hatred toward humans.

Is it just me or is Ezran letting hate consume him more than usual? Has he completely lost his sense of peace and kindness?

Good point! I think what you pointed out is a kind of nuance to Ezran's character. Because even all the way back in season three, he said he didn't want to be the kind of king his father was--the kind of king that punished people for crimes "their parents committed". Ezran is young and carries a responsibility of trying to help heal the world by ruling with compassion. His intentions sort of encompass the show's message of "creating a better future of love instead of letting the past control you" and this philosophy is challenged by all of the pain of the world, and all of the pain that Ezran himself went through. He has to go through the long journey of healing, and so does the rest of the world. It's a heavy burden for he himself to carry, and it seems he could be breaking under the pressure. Your idea of "hate consuming him", he has trouble forgiving, but wouldn't anybody to the person who murdered his father!? I fear you might be right:(.
@arielmejia1057Ай бұрын
@@AshEastwood His father had admitted in his last conversation with Callum that he had done terrible things and that he knows he would pay for them. I am absolutely certain King Harrow would be turning in his grave seeing his son Ezran hate Runaan as he does because King Harrow was willing to pay the price. Besides, surely Runaan had no evil intentions at least? I agree he should still pay for killing King Harrow out of hate, but surely he should be forgiven for what he did? Why else would Rayla and Callum save Runaan as they did? Because he is not an evil character overall.
@AshEastwoodАй бұрын
@@arielmejia1057 Yes I agree. Ezran is in the wrong but I can't blame him. I hope his character arc this season involves him learning how to forgive Runaan.

Ok Aaravos never lies. He says the In-between is for restless souls but when Viren died he seemed to make his peace. Aaravos could assume his soul is of restlessness but it probably isn't.
