I think the impetus for Victors change was not just Jayces attack, but that his commune failed. He tried to have his evolution with people who were only partly machine, and still had some free will. But when it didn't work he decided that the only solution was to have total control, completely mechanical people.

I saw this episode 7 more than 10 times, but only now did i see that the alternative Powder also has the blue cloud tattoos that Jinx has. The difference is that the tattoos of the alternative Powder doesn't go all the way through the shoulder and arm. I don't know if it is just the hip or if it goes through her bust as well. nice detail fortiche. This show will make me crazy someday.

Personally I was okay with the ending not featuring Jinx and Vi as heavily. They already had their major character arcs in the season 1 finale and throughout act 2. Vi and Jinx are protagonists but not the only protagonists after all. Thereby leaving Viktor and Jayce left to finish their story arcs and dedicating a season finale to them felt fine to me.

Criticism dosent not been a show isn’t good, we all feel the pacing issues that bleed into the stories but we can also all tell how much love, care and passion went into making this masterpiece of a show. I am going to need another season of Echo in alternate universe Zonn. Him and grown up Powder were giving me life. I am not going to Lie I loved Ambessa She was so awesome, and the levels of 7d chess she was playing was catching me every time. I Love that her two daughter figures kinda gave it to her in the end. Mel finally getting her mother's Respect as well as her love was awesome. Kate proving she took Ambessa's lessons to heart by sacrificing her eye to give Mel the shot! it was just everything. I like that Savvica got a seat at the table that made me happy. The ending made me mad too. I thought Jinx died, and that was some dumb ish after She was going to commit suicide and Echo talked her down. Why couldn't they ride off into the sunset together??! Still over all it was good, just should have been more of AU Zonn and Timebomb.

Another subtle writing decision actually provides great context for Vi breaking down and making it way more understandable. In addition to a TON of Saving Private Ryan references in the last episode, it becomes clear that Vi is and probably has been experiencing extreme PTSD since Vander died. In the last battle she is first seen desperately carrying Illaowi the rebel on her back only to watch her die, she watches Loris, who is a stand-in for Vander, cut down indiscriminately. She is on the front lines watching so many people die, and then on top of all that, she has to watch Vander die - FOR THE THIRD TIME. The idea that she is "stupid" for not being able to bear it anymore, completely misses the point of her character. She is the Protector, because she loves hard and sees many people as her family, yet it has also made her the vessel for incredible trauma. I think this is why Caitlin, knowing Vi so deeply, understands she needs to keep Jinx being alive secret, because Vi needs time to heal from the trauma, at the very least.

Here are some things that I hated/disliked about Act 3. 1. Maddie's reveal as a traitor was predictable, It felt very forced because Instead of making her an actual character. they just just did it as an excuse to get Vi and Caitlyn back together. 2. Loris was one of the most pointless characters in the show, he barely gets any development, we learn nothing about him and he just dies in the second and not even Vi is like sad about it. 3. I hate how when Ekko came back to the main timeline and he meets up with Jinx we dont even get a scene where he's trying to convince Jinx to help. and the next time we see them they're just all cool with eachother. 4. the pacing is genuily awful

1. She was a side piece who cait didn't even show much interest in other than a one night fling. Also define what an "actual character" means the story isn't focus on her 2. He is a side character who is just a friend of vi, it is no different then you meeting a friend of a friend you don't need to know more than their connection to the person you actually care about. There were 9 champions in this series and you are trying to tell me we should focus on a friend of a friend? You serious. For the love of god read some novels and not just watch tv shows you sound profoundly stupid for that statement. 3. This can be reduced to I want to see more, but it isn't 100% necessary unless you need everything spelled out for you. Their talk covers what it needed too you can reasonably assume the rest. 4. I generally find people who complain about pacing in media its isn't generally the pacing its just that you didn't see what you wanted to see and are mad by it. You didn't care in s1 because you likely had no expectation of what you wanted to see covered so no preconceived expectations of what you want to see that you can contribute to pacing.

I higly disagree on all your points. 1. While i myself hated Maddie and i hoped she would be a traiter, there are a lot of people who didnt expect it. So if it was predictable for you, doesnt mean its predictable for everybody. If you cant enjoy something thats slightly predictable, you might enjoy no media at all, as everything is somewhat predictable. 2. I agree, that Loris got too little screen time but you gotta keep in mind that arcane has an insane setlist of characters they need to think about, which they still managed to nail. Ekko for example has suprisingly little screen time and is still so well developed. So there is only so much room. Also Vi has seen people die she cares around her the whole time, so that shes not too much affected by him is kinda understandable. 3. Why would they show this? The scene of him turning back time over and over again to keep her from dying is way enough. I personally loved the anticipation it creates of not showing it, till they show up together to save the day. So if they would have shown that, they would have lifted the stress on the whole battle and ruined the hype moment when they showed up

@@moruos Im not sure if "predictable" was the right word more so that it felt that they did it mostly because that's what the fans wanted instead of doing what they want. also they could easily made more episode that focus or atleast gives us detail on Loris character regardless if Arcane is already focusing on plenty of characters which they already did in season 1. also wdym "why would they show it"? to show how he actually manages to convince Jinx not blow herself up and it would have more impactful since he had just come from another universe where everything was perfect and where he had started to develope feelings for her.

For those hated the ending, I really don't think you guys would've liked the happy ending for everyone. The "happily ever after" doesn't give you the reminiscent of the show. The writers wanted us to get "frustrated" in the twisted ending, and live in the painful reminiscent even after show, with the hopeful cliffhangers. Just look at the KZbin videos coming out, talking about the ending. This is what makes this show so amazing, despites some flaws.

Season two tried to push two seasons worth of plot into one. It worked, barely, because the writers are smart. But the whole plot moving of a conflict between cities to a rogue Jesus so quickly makes people get lost in the plot. With a third season, it would have worked perfectly.

I'm biased cause i still love this s2 but i think they just needed like 10 more minutes in episode 8 and 9. After Acts 1 and 2 being so Zaun focused it feels kind of forgotten for the final act. They couldve fixed this by showing the full scene of Ekko convincing jinx to live and the undercity's, specifically Sevika's, reaction to Jinx's call to help Piltover. A longer and more fleshed out epilogue also would have been nice.

Season 2 was a mediocre mess. Caitlyn commits war crimes and we are meant to still like her? She was worse to Zaun than Silco was, who was the series’ villain. Jinx never overcomes trauma, and when it’s clear she doesn’t wanna live Vi decides it’s a good time for tasting cupcake rather than saving her life? And the message of that stupid episode 7 is that apparently Vi is such a terrible person that if she literally dies everyone else is super happy including the war between Piltover and Zaun. Season 2 completely betrayed the characters of season 1. They should have set it in a different region - their character arcs were already completed and as a result it’s all a meandering mess of too many plot threads.

It wasn't really a choice for Jayce to stay with Viktor. Jayce realized that the only way to make sure it finally ended was for both of them to die - especially after Viktor explained their connection.

Yep but what that connection come from? One second lets use our brains. If the person who saved jayce and give him that rock was viktor how viktor first get the hextech? Jayce find the arcane first right? Than viktor saw his works and helped him to upgrade. So viktor and jayce create hextech. Viktor become hex jesus bc of jayce. But if he didn't give the rock in the first place? There will be no hextech. But viktor said only u can save me. Hmm... Lets say viktor find hextech without jayce before timeloop bc we need a start point. After that he became hex jesus and universe jayce went is his real world. He made everyone machine. He didn't liked that and felt lonely. He saved jayce in another universe to became partner. Even they are partners viktor still ended up turning everyone machines and he tried again and agin. Finally it worked i think? My point is viktor saved a child w his mother when they are dying( he is not even living in piltover or zaun) to made him his partner to find hextech so he could save him to become machine and killing everyone inthe world? In that case why is he choose jayce? And insisted that he is the one? Thats why people shouldn't wrote scenario about another universes or time travel.
