There were quite a few bands and groups that were also fans of The Ventures like, The Cars, The Ramones, The Pretenders & the all-girl group The Go-Go’s. I guess I can only speak for me but, I'm here for the music. What the Surfrajettes do might fit into 60s Surf but, nobody played Surf like that. I'd say it's clean, absolutely precise, has attention to detail, played perfectly without sounding over rehearsed. There's a reason you have 3,048,762 views on Norm's Guitars. They only count me once no matter how many times I watch it. Y'all are special!

That's interesting, I assumed that each view counted. If it's one per viewer that an even bigger achievement. Currently it's 5M for Toxic, 3M for Norms and 2M for one of the gigs, I Had To Much To Surf Last Night.

@@chrisst8922 I was always that person that would play the same song over and over. I'd usually pick up something I didn't notice the times before. There's been too many times I've watched, reloaded and the count didn't change. I know KZbin keeps up with what I've watched and I think I've heard that they only count each ISP account one time no matter how many times it's viewed.

@@jerrym3261 I've just read about youtube's counting algorithm, they say it's a complicated matter. I was able to watch a count change last week; I watched The Surfrajette's Toxic video exceed 5M, I saw the total at 4,999,999 and two or three minutes later checked again and saw 5,000,003. I really should get out more!!

@@chrisst8922 KZbin IS complicated. If you've ever watched a creator's video about how much they get paid for their videos, it gets into who is watching, where they live, their demographics, age, income, all of that. I give the Norm's video more weight because it's people that are interested in guitars so, a small segment of the population. It's kind of like recognition from peers. The Surfrajettes are #11 most popular and there are some big names with far less views. It's a little surprising how far some musicians are from what we're used to hearing from them when they're playing instruments and equipment off of Norm's shelf. Nicole and Shermey killed it though.
