We got asked by Pure Michigan & Visit Detroit tourism boards to come out to see what all the hype is about. We thought... Detroit!? - Of all places? - The run down city full of crime and violence, no thank you.
Oh how wrong were we! - Turns out this city has gone through a complete transformation in the last 10 years. It's such a beautiful city and we absolutely fell in love with it... instantly!
We had 4 days in Detroit and then we drove west towards Lake Michigan to a small town called Saugatuck. What an incredible little place that is! Find out what we got up to in the video whilst there.
We then drove to Grand Rapids, a city on the River Grand. Pretty epic to be honest.
A life-changing trip for us, we absolutely loved it and I cant wait to hear your guys thoughts.
