12:07 it is curious why American McDonald's are so basic... obviously, each region/country run their own chain and come up with new menu items/promotions. that said, can't they bring some of that back home? like jan is intentional month or something and they bring in a regional special into the state each year. if it is a hit and they can maintain the supply chain it can stay on the menu. otherwise they drop it. even if end up dropping the item, the promotion probably still brings in additional business or foot traffic which probably still a net win.
