Fun Fact: If a foreign couple has a child in Brazil, the child automatically gains citizenship and the parents are entitled to a permanent residency visa, even so with only 1 year of residency and proof of language knowledge, the couple also obtains citizenship. having a second Brazilian citizenship is very interesting, as it allows you to live anywhere in MERCOSUR (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay)

@@aquamastertheonlyone If you live in Brazil you will obviously need to pay the Brazilian taxes, but you dont need to pay taxes to hold the citizenship and this is what im talking about

@@paulos3070 ??? After you are citizen of *any* country you have rights but also *obligations* with country. Of course that, if you have brazilian citizenship and live in other country, without owning anything in Brazil or doing any business inside the country, they will not collect taxes, but, if you live in Brazil, owns some property or do any business *as brazilian* automatically you will be "charged", as any brazilian.

- Fun fact: Uruguay was the province of “Cisplatina” of Brazilian empire, after a war between Argentina and Brazil for those lands British empire help in a deal of peace and create the new country named Uruguay 🇺🇾!
