Great episode. Maybe something to try. Courseplay has settings for worker wages and other costs. Maybe set these to £0 and allocate costs as though you had employees. Ral world wages are way cheaper than standard courseplay costs, and that way, whilst you're still paying, it's at the end of the month for multiple contracts.

You won't lose bales off the contract field, just loose stuff. Once baled it is safe.

I like this lets play. I have a jcb fast tract 3200 xl. For carting and fendt black beauty for field work and massey 7726s and claas lexion combine. On my court farms. I am enjoying court and farm sim again have a good holiday your allowed to faff

Scroft, FYI not all grass fields on the map have contracts enabled including the largest field 6. With just a quick search I have found 11 fields that I enabled contracts on they are fields 6, 10, 11, 15, 16, 27, 39, 54, 55, 60 & 144. Also you won't lose the bales on the field if you complete the contract only any loose straw still to be baled.

Love this series. FYI, you can use AutoDrive and Course Play together to have the combine return to the trailer to unload automatically. Just set a wait point using Auto drive and then in the harvester working a course play course, open AutoDrive and then the same wait point using the combine setting (the go to, load and too area) Also, For grass cutting, I use a Tedder and Winrower that is the same width as the mower. Might take a little longer, but they can follow the mower, are 3 point hitch and easy to get in and out of tight spaces.

I know you're fond of altering the XML, FSG did a short video of changing the gate opening angles to make it easier to access fields. Great entertainment from you as usual Scroft.

Also, I always have a portable tank for fuel, i think there's a base game one, but you'll need a truck or side by side to tote it around. On my multiplayer games with my kids & mother, we have a fuel and service truck in case we run out of fuel or break down. It's a $1500 service fee just to call out the truck, then 4x the cost of how much fuel is used, and of course the cost of the repairs. It really makes you pay attention.

Hi Scroft, I have decided to fix the gates by the .XML file, so that the gates open just a little bit wider so that I don't have to cheet by going through the hedge, and it has made the map more manageable, if you would like the gates to open a bit wider look up "FarmSim Guy" First I would go with a 120 opening as I think 130 is too far. I love the Peak District. I live in Sheffield, so I visit the area quite a lot as I am right on the doorstep. I love walking all around there.

July 19, 2023 I was yelling at the screen, "NOOOO, Don't complete the contract. You'll lose your bales!!!" and then I sat back and relaxed when you said you were playing it cautious and going to wait. Phew!! (wipes forehead) LOL You are correct sir. If you complete the contract with ANY product you want, straw, bales, etc. ON the field, it will be GONE! Been there; done that. No fun to realize you just threw away all your hard work, not to mention money. You might want to purchase the Diesel Jerrican by Fr€d Fra-Cassés or the Fuel Gallon by Gian FS. There is another more expensive model but either of those two would help out to get you enough fuel to finish a harvest I would think. At least you wouldn't have to drive the harvester back to the farm to refuel. I'm glad you're using the Extended Straw Crops mod. I use it as well. It's a great mod and after all, even if you wouldn't normally get straw from some of those crops, it's just a GAME, so why not play it and have FUN! Did ja know you can connect your Telehandler/Loadall to the back of your bale trailer? Lay the forks/tines (whatever you call them) across the top bale and put the tension straps on. If should follow right along behind you. Mr. Sealyp does this and it saves having to drive the Telehandler/Loadall back. 😃 Of course, it might be a bit tight since the roads are so narrow but hey, it's a thought for future series if nothing else. I enjoy how you talk to the AI workers. I'm sure you know this already but make sure to collect on All contracts before you exit the map for any reason or else when you come back, the contract will be gone and you will not the money from it. NEVER leave the map until you complete and collect on your contracts. I've made the mistake of being in the middle of a contract and decided to quit the map for one reason or another and when I came back on, the contract was gone and so was all the hard work I'd done on it. Giants really need to fix that. Don't forget to check the USED equipment when you're wanting to buy something. Sometimes you can get a really good deal. You don't lose them if they are bailed you only lose it if it is still straw.

We don’t make straw off our oil seed rape (conola) because the straw off the shredder thing is a good fertiliser

I wish they could make the manual attachment mod as it is in real life, you can put on the baler automatically, But you need to manually plug in the hoses and the pto. If that was the case i would use that mod all the time.

That John Deere baler is my #1 go to for square bales. Cheaper n chips, and it's pickup width is actually a tad bit wider than the actual pickup. But I've been using the round baler you were looking at, but I use it's cheating brother, the quick-quick baler/wrapper. It's hilarious to watch, cuz it'll wrap those bales in about .08 seconds, then it kinda yeets it off the back 🤣🤣 But I'm absolutely loving this map, far more than I did Calmsden. I've not yet used the CP, I've been doing everything myself, except for a few contract jobs. But I've also got the leasing mod that allows me to lease fields, which is a great mod. I'm curious about the contract details mod, where do I find that?

How you getting so much contract options? I only get like 4 and its normally cultivator for like 2k (I'm using the better contacts mod)

Have you gone into the better contracts options? It is the tab right above the contracts tab. Set lazy farmers to yes and activate everything. I also allow it to have unlimited open contracts. A lot depends on the map, the map author does have some say in what fields are offered for contract work.

So I keep hearing you say that it''s only a certain amount per bale, However , in the pricing section , it's usually a certain amount per 1000 liters, so if it's a 3500 liter bale, shouldn't it be 3.5 times the amount that they have in the pricing section?

Fyi there your bales once you make them have tested couldnt get into this map because of the tight entrances on everything really like the look just not the play
