Do you sort out the Wheat Cents for your Collection (Tube and roll by Date and mintmark), or just bin them up? I sort and roll by date and mintmark.

I sort into common into 3 main categories: 1. 40s and 50s 2. Common pre-40s 3. Anything low-mintage or key-date gets put into a 2x2 and into a binder

My bank gives me bags of $50 in pennies. in one of those bags, I found 6 King George the 6th Canadian pennies!

Fantastic video 👍🏼 I am a coin collector as well. I usually hunt for double dies or any errors on a coin. Just anything that will make me a little bit of money on the side. I do have Queen Elizabeth dollars some are old and some are not I also have Korean dollars but I'm not sure if it's the leader of North Korea or his father but I think I have both of them. On the Canadian KG-VI after from 1937 to '47 the obverse inscription includes "ET IND: IMP:" This is missing from '48 onwards. I guessed at 1942 for the first one and 1950 for the second.

There are 2 rare pennies caused by the removal of ET IND. In 1947 India gained independence causing them to remove ET IND so while they were creating the '48 die they had to temporarily add a maple leaf to the '47 coins to signify they were made in '48. It was late in 1948 when they got the dies ready causing 1948 to be an extremely rare key date, with 47 leaf being decently rare aswell

I just found two Indian heads coin roll hunting in the last month. 1903 and 1905, both in nice shape. Also a1913 D and 1909 VDB just barely tarnished, hardly any wear. About 10 years ago I found a 1930 Canadian penny and that’s the rarest one I ever found. Oldest American coin I found in circulation was a 1875 Indian head in 2009. I just discovered your channel today. There’s quite a few channels out there doing this.
