Got these eggs from a ranch in New Mexico. We laughed so hard seeing those eggs packed in a diaper.

It’s because it’s welcoming your new baby home and they gave you a diaper

We received the eggs thru an ostrich breeder in New Mexico www.floeckscountry.com, 100 dollars per egg. Very nice lady to work with.

What incubator do you use?

We are using a GQF model 1602n. But we are going to modify it into a tote. Our 1st try at hatching ostrich eggs was not successful as none hatched. We did have one develop, the rest never did. Lessons learned, 1. Humity needs to be around 25%. 2. Need auto turner system for really big heavy eggs. GQF not strong enough. 3. Don't be afraid of opening an egg to have a look by making a hole in the air sack end.
