Little Lucas is a brilliant kid for his age lol. He's also a little diehard Mets fan which is a nice bonus ( or a curse, I'm not sure 😁) Also props to Mom and Dad for naming little Shea after (obviously) Shea Stadium. Can't wait to get out to Citi field soon, I was given a $200 Mets giftcard for my bday, so gonna get some decent box seats and go on "deGrom day". I'd recommend to anyone to go see deGrom in person, watching him on tv does not do him justice. Great video, Zach! LFGM!

Lucas is a very smart youngster and he did great in the video. They seemed like a very nice family. I love how this season baseball has brought back the old school doubleheaders, 2 for the price of one. Just not a fan of the 7 inning game. I use to love it in Detroit a few times a season the Tigers would have doubleheaders built-in the schedule. They were called a twi-light doubleheader and the first game would start at 5pm and as soon as that game was over then first pitch for the next game was exactly 30 minutes after the first game. Back at Tiger Stadium they had general admission bleachers 10,000 of those and they went on sale 2 hours before game time and they only cost $4.00 and this was in the 90's. So my friends and I went to every doubleheader they had. For teens to be able to see 2 MLB games for $4.00 was the best. I say bring back the traditional 9 inning game doubleheaders and I think the teams would make more money by this vs split doubleheaders.
