They have to keep at least one resto Jeep in there every year, Jeep if you’re reading TrailRecon’s follower’s comments don’t stop that! Dig the Magneto concept, it’s interesting to see that technology evolve…great video Brad thanks, hope it make it out there one year myself, love to see an Amp’d Jeep like mine represented out there too!

Brad, I know that Expedition De Las Americas Jeep very well. One of my clients, AL Grim, had it stored in his commercial warehouse, (in Hemet, CA). Al personally told me the story of the trip and gave me one of the DVD's. I tried to talk him into selling the Jeep to me, but he said it was going to his son. I was pleasantly surprised (and happy) that the hood dent has not been removed! Al said he would never fix the dent as it's a part of history. Very few understand how bad the Darien Gap is to traverse. Keep up the great videos. Jess

I'm loving this. The views are fantastic. The Jeeps are so cool, and the electrically scorched, blackened, and melted rock tells a story of a massive world wide electrical plasma discharge event. Nature is a story book that reveilles history and is full of so much wonder, and excitement.

It's fun when the engineers are given a Jeep and told to go build whatever they like. I like the lightweight concepts and the retro builds. As an owner of a red CJ-7 I love seeing that historic CJ-7 still driving around.

What an experience to be able to drive all the concepts! I want 3 things from the concepts…1: bring the 35’s and off road goodies from the grand Wagoneer, to the wagoneer, 2: make the gladiator bed with the Molly panels, and 3: most desired is that Dark Harbor Blue and on the gladiator!! That color is amazing!! Great video Brad and Regina!!

From about 20 minutes in, Jim Allen's comments reminded me that IH also used the phrase "sports/utility vehicle" in their Scout II magazine ads, circa late 1970s. IH must have liked how it sounded!

Great video. Never owned a Jeep but I do appreciate the old Cherokees and wranglers. There must be some concern about the future under Stellantis just as there is amongst the Dodge camp. I’m a dodge guy at heart and hope to buy an old dodge Plymouth or maybe an old Jeep when I retire. That scrambler is awesome. Bring that name back! Really appreciate your channel. All the best.

Ok the first one you asked about should be Ruby Sunday, because that's the day most people are out on a trail. Or at least, when I am. And while I like the no-door thing when out in the wild, that will absolutely relegate these things to tow/trailer-only for the enthusiasts and the rare hot girl town rider for the rest IF there's a way to make them road legal. BUT I agree that the exterior IH/Cherokee styling for that one is cool, for grey beards like me.

Brad not related to this episode directly but could you do a coffee one take on insurance options for unique or modded vehicles? I found out the hard way that regular insurance only covers the msrp of the pre-modded vehicle. I had a sweet 2014 FJ that I put a lot of money and time into and got hit by a driver that had minimal insurance ($5,000). It was totaled and I got msrp from my insurance + $2,500 I had to split with them. The owner of the other car declared bankruptcy when my insurance company went after them so that was that. I probably lost $30k in the deal not to mention the time spent putting all that stuff.on. I definitely don’t want anyone else to go through what I did!

Omg I love them all my favorite jeep is the year I was born which is the 1979 so I really loved the 78 and I really want the 2 door 392 but I would more want to for my personal use want the 1979 392 3" on 15" 33 tires with adjustable suspension with air compressor and whinch and hilift jack that would be my go to jeep

Departure Concept ... Cool to see Regina giving some a go. But the thought, I actually like some of the stuff that Mopar puts out for the Jeeps. But mannnn, they are waaaay expensive. Cheaper to go aftermarket... I'd definately get their stuff it was more reasonable (or competitively) priced.

I think you should do a stripped down, modernized, CJ-7 instead of a JK. Bring some new to some old - something different…..definitely more time consuming and difficult but I’m a fan of outside the mold.
